So anyone have any feedback on the bilstein 5100s? Im intrested in these myself and was curious if the 2.5 lift on these is for at4/trailboss trucks or non at4/trailboss trucks

I agree that they are pricey for what they are but im about to change my setup and run all gb speakers in the front and have a set of gb tweeters flush mounted in the a pillars under the handle also a few months my shop tried the nav tv unit and i was very unhappy with it i lost alot of volume with my setup from the voltage drop and it also sets a communication code in the bc when you take the factory bose amp out and with the problems i have had with these dealerships blaming aftermarket stuff with issues on my truck i had the factory amp reinstalled

The gs25s will drop right in i have all audiofrog door and dash speakers in my truck now and to me they are worth the premium price i was on the fence myself but my audio shop talked me into it and i was very happy with the results but i have a arc ps-850 powering them so i cant speak to how they sound on the bose amp

Yeah i was thinking the same thing so i unhooked the battery for several hours and then went to another dealer about 30 minutes away and they told pretty much said the same thing the truck wouldnt take the update and then they showed me my truck had 4 trouble codes stored in it one was where i have led tag light bulbs another was where my rear camera isnt working and the other 2 is from the factory amp not having a load on the output side of it so i guess i have no choice but to return it to stock and see what happens if it dont take the update then i prob have much bigger problems

As far as i know they tapped into the signal on the bose amp and all the outputs to the speakers are coming from the audiocontrol amp so i have hard dtc codes in my computer from the bose amp not having a load on the output side and the dealership is saying thats why they cannot do the update so for the people that went a similiar route as me how was this problem solved?

I got a question for you guys i had a audio control 6 channel with dsp intalled and all my speakers upgraded with audison speakers the shop piggybacked off of my bose my amp to retain all of my factory functions my problem is when i took my truck to the dealer today to have the blue screen fixed when i put my truck in reverse and reprogram the torque module the truck wouldnt take any updates they tried twice and said it froze up both times but worked fine on another vehicle then they started saying the amp i had installed wasnt letting the truck accept the software updates and that warranty wouldnt cover it and told me to put it all back to stock then come back does this sound accurate or is the dealership overunning with ass clowns?

I can send you a copy of my receipt will all the part numbers for the hood, hinges and duct work i had to look around for the clip and screws part numbers

I have the k&n intake as well i see you had to replace cheap plastic fittings with the metal pipe fittings too lol

My truck is a 1500 i only have the hd hood

Whats up guys new here, been looking at this mod for awhile and i just left my dealership ordering the parts to do the swap on my 14 seems everyone has done the swap on the 16 up front ends so i guess ill be the first for the 14-15 parts will be in tom and gonna drop the hood off to my paint guy hoping itll be paint by this weekend ill keep you guys posted
