Thanks for the insight! New to diesel and still learning all of the different noises and fun extras over the gassers. I am guessing that has to be it as it did it on the way home from work last night once up to temp and this morning was back to normal.

I may be totally oblivious but how do you know when it goes into regen? There is nothing on the DIC showing % or regen that I am aware of.

Hey all, Tried searching for similar issue, unable to find anything. Noticed about a month ago, now starting again, my fuel economy would start to drop dramatically and when I hard accelerate there is a very loud air sucking or blowing noise coming from the engine bay. Took it into the dealer to have it inspected and they could not find any issues. Checked all turbo hoses and did find any loose connections or leaks and of course, when they drove it, they could not replicate the sound. Normally when I let off the throttle, my economy goes to 99mpg but when I notice this issue it only goes to about 65mpg max. Could it be trying to regen the DPF? I don't normally drive more than 20 minutes in the morning and 20 minutes in the evening to and from work. In summer the truck sees a lot more because I am towing a camper hundreds of miles. Not sure what other information I can provide to the community to explain the issue more but I am concerned that it could lead to more issues. I only have about 7,600 miles on the truck right now. Hi All, Just picked up a new 2022 GMC HD and the first thing I noticed I am missing from my 2018 Silverado was the jumper in the BCM for cargo and mirror lights on in reverse. I searched in here but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know what wires to jump to make this happen like the K2 versions? Thanks!

I have Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo3s that have been on for about 12 months with no issues. I thought maybe it was uneven wear on the fronts so I rotated and still hear the noise. I cant imagin that the fronts and rears are wearing the exact same to where they would make the exact same noise when rotated. I setup an appointment with the dealer next week since I have a lifetime powertrain warranty, was just hoping someone else had a magical fix for it so I dont have to mess with the dealer. They can sometimes be a pain in the a** to deal with, especially with today's "workforce". Anyway, thanks for the help. I will update if and when I find out what it is incase others have the same issue down the road.

I know it isnt the physical spacer itself, obviously. I rotated tires, as I stated, and checked wheel bearing. Wheel bearings are fine, rotating tires didn’t make a difference. I only wondered if anyone else had issues like this after lifting because I know it can put extra strain on our trucks. I have a suspicion that it might be something the front diff after some more investigation, maybe a bearing in there?

Hey all, I hope this hasn't been asked and answered. If it has, I apologize and hope you can link the post. Have had a 2.5" Motofab Front Level Kit installed for about 18 months on my 2018 Silverado. Started hearing noise from the front about 2 month ago Sounds like a howling noise, from both sides in the front. One side doesn't seem worse than the other, or it's in the middle? Thought maybe the tires (only 1 year old). Rotated tires and still the same noise. Checked the wheel bearings and they seem good. Talked to a few people and they mentioned might be something to do with the lift. Anyone have any ideas on what could be making the noise? Thanks in advance!

Just ordered a set with plug-n-play, any tips/tricks/hints/dos/donts you would suggest? How long did it take you to install?

Designed and 3D printed some plugs for the holes on the outer frame tube by the rear wheel. Left the inside holes open for moisture to evaporate. Printing the last one for the small slots above the keyway right now and will be all set.

So after reading through, I decided to go with an AEM DryFlow drop in. All I have noticed so far is loss in fuel economy. Only ran about a tank and a half of gas, does it need to run longer to reset or should I do something different? Wasn’t looking for any huge performance increase or sound, just wanted a decent drop in. Anyone have any thoughts? Also, should I be running mid or premium vs regular?

I have a 2018 with 2.5" front, 2" rear Motofab, looking to get new tires on stock 20" LTZ wheels. Current tires are stock 275/55R20. Trying to figure out my best bet on largest tire size with no rub or cutting on the following sizes: 275/60R20 (33" x 11") 285/60R20 (33.5" x 11.5") 275/65R20 (34.1" x 11") Can anyone provide their thoughts and/or experience?

I am getting close to pulling the trigger now that they have the Xtreme, might have to run some different lights though. How was install? Pretty easy?

Are the step lights blue? I thought they came with white LED.

Plasti-dipped the bow ties on the wheels a couple weeks ago. Replaced OEM tow mirrors under warranty due to water in the market lights, FOR THE SECOND TIME. Took the market lights out, sealed them up and tinted them before install. I feel like I should go into business installing tow mirrors for the number of times I’ve had to swap now. I guess it was really only 3 times, but still. One time swapping the DL3s to tow should have been enough.

I didn't want to spend the $250 so I bought carbon fiber vinyl for about $15 and wrapped the wood grain pieces.

Oh, gotcha. I've never used it. I usually use Google or Waze.

If i do not have navigation activated, is this how you would do it or is this just an update?

Phil, I have a set of DL3s from when I switched if you are interested. Tried selling them around me but no bites. They are in excellent condition.

I bought 1.5 x 5ft and have a good amount left over. I think it was like $14 for the vinyl.
