  1. Me too. I actually built my own box that copied the design from the Ebay console box you can buy and still have it as I pulled it back out before trading it in. I just haven't had the right weather and motivation to spend a Saturday tearing into it to see If the same box will fit. Been half tempted to just build a square box for the 8 and throw it under the seat just so I don't have to pull the console.
  2. File size limit is annoying.
  3. Here's some photos from the install. The hose connections are in slightly different locations from the previous gen 5.3 but still close and easy to find the PVC hose that you pull out.
  4. I installed the elite engineering can I removed from my 2015 5.3 onto my 2019 5.3. I didn't want to mount it on the firewall because I'm short and don't really want to unbolt the can to be able to empty and clean it. So I just set it in a little gap next to the air filter box. Not elegant but it's a snug fit and doesn't move around and super easy to lift up and take apart. I've since removed it because I keep taking my truck in to have a vibration diagnosed. This photo is after about 1000 miles. Not a lot but I mostly like having a can installed because it keeps the throttle body and intake clean.
  5. Mines been at the dealer since tuesday. Gm told them to read force balance again and the numbers were all in spec. they drove it and it still did it. Gm then had them move the tires to different wheels to try and offset the vibration. Numbers still in spec after road force balancing again and the numbers got even better. Asked me to come in for a test drive and the vibration is worse at 67-70. Waiting for them to suggest the next fix. Since the vibration intensity is changing I assume they will suggest replacing tires.
  6. Dropped mine off yesterday. Service manager seems hopeful that gm will approve new tires.
  7. I'm still going through the same thing. 22's as well. Taking it back to the dealer for the 4th time next week and am hoping they come to the same solution just so I can be done with the shakes.
  8. Did you torque the ubolts or just check if they were tight? On my 2015 when I installed a lift, I torqued them to about 70ftlbs and went for a test drive and had a clunk. increased it to 100ftlbs and no more noise.
  9. I had non E range wildpeaks on my 2015 and could not get rid of the vibration. Half the reason I switched to the 2019 (other have was the wonky 6spd shifting) Running the factory tires on the factory 22"s and have a little seat vibration still. Just had the dealer road force balance and it is better but still there sometimes. Seems worse when I let the truck sit for a couple days.
  10. Anything special about dropping the liner? Just the usual drop the visor, center overhead console, and dome lights, then pull the A, B, & C pillars? were you able to move it out of the way enough without pulling it completely out of the truck?
  11. Well got my truck back today and got the annoying "couldn't reproduce the problem" Hopefully as the weather cools the problem will happen less.
  12. Dropped mine off this week at the dealer for a vibration and told them about this too. Still no word from them.
  13. 2019 rst cc no sunroof. Popping noise and I too have heard the noise when washing. Seems to be coming from the spoiler. Randomly hear it while driving as well.
  14. Has anyone seen a procedure for how the dealer is supposed to replace or inspect the fluid? Considering changing mine after a few thousand miles because I don't believe I have the new fluid that is now listed in the TSB and honestly would rather just replace it myself without having to deal with trying to convince the dealer that I feel a weird shift every now and then.
  15. Got mine in today. Tried to install them on the higher set of holes and found that I still had about 3/4" of rake so I went ahead and went with the lower set. Also flipped around the shims just to be safe. no vibrations. Just need to adjust the headlights not and all should be good. Before: After:
  16. Glad to hear that spinning the shim is the fix for everyone. Received mine today and hoping to install tomorrow.
  17. Just went out and did this to mine as well and so far so good. went for a short drive and all was quiet. Thank you all!
