  1. they are made by n-fab. we bought the truck Apr 2020, the wheel to wheel steps for a reg cab w/ an 8ft bed were not available until July 2020. Everybody seemed to be only making them for the double & crew cabs, but not the reg cabs. We received one of the 1st sets available. We have this same step style from nfab on our 08 Sierra as well. We are happy w/ them.
  2. Has anyone looked into or know anyone who has retrofitting/retrofitted the 2500 fender marker lights onto a 1500? obviously the moldings have diff parts #'s. the fender & bed sides even have diff part #'s. I know that on the bed sides it is due to the step in the bedside. for the fenders, the wheelwells have diff arches as seen in the pics below, so just swapping out the molding is not an option. 2020 2500 pic found online: My 19 Sierra WT

  4. do you have the part #'s for the mudflaps that you used?
  5. do you have any installed pics?
  6. My 08 Sierra WT 4.3L 2wd did not have a DIC. But the harness for it was behind the dash bezel. So I went to the j/y & bought a bezel & switch from a 2010 Sierra. Cleaned it all up & installed it in mine. For me it was plug & play. My 2008 Sierra WT now has a functioning DIC.
  7. that black rim around the quarter windows is a molded on hard rubber. It doesn't come off. @ the j/y, I cook them off. We use a conductive tool around the outer edges of the glass to heat it up. As it heats up, it will smoke a little. as it loosens up, i stick a wooden wedge under it to keep it reseating & continue moving along until I can remove the glass. Same process for the windshield & rear window. Too much heat & you can shatter the glass. Some windshields & rear glass do not lend themselves to easily be manually cut out. I averaged about 1in10 getting broken. usually it was large glass in the cold months.
  8. i too would like to know if there is a way to upgrade the factory usb ports to a higher amp# w/o loosing factory options?
  9. did you try a different cable? maybe your cable is faulty. you didn't mention what type of phone you have, what plug does it have? if type-c or lightning, try flipping the plug, sometimes it'll kick it to a faster charge cycle.
  10. from a few yrs ago, not the best article but you get the jist. https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/cars/2017/10/19/why-so-many-automakers-ditching-spare-tires/777871001/ my mother-in-law has a 12 Elantra while my sister-in-law has a 14 Elantra or vise versa (both bought new), i wont hold it against them. we didnt know until one of them got a flat, just a styrofoam wedge w/ a can of fix-a-flat, i drove 2 towns over to swap out the 2 flats to find out that both cars didnt have a spare, we were forced to call aaa @ that point.
