The only item I didnt add was the U-bolts because my 2500 has the max towing package which includes the 3500 rear suspension. I would have to get the u-bolts from a different place.

According to etrailer.com, a rail system will work with the factory puck system but as you say it will be 2 to 2.5 inches taller. You can buy a hitch from etrailer that will fit into the factory puck system and doesn't need the rail to work.

The Chevrolet/GMC dealer in Stanleytown, VA, performed this recall on my 2024 2500HD Denali Ultimate while there for its 1st oil change on September 16th. I have a question about the seats in the 2024 2500 HD. I know (think) the AT4, Denali AT4X and Denali Ultimate all have different grades of leather for the seat material. I also know the AT4X and Ultimate have massaging seats. If you take away the messaging seats which GMC trim would have the most comfortable seats for a trip from east coast to Anchorage, Denali and Fairbanks AK and for everyday driving?

I bought a center tray from Amazon and notched it for the electronic lock on my lock'er down safe.

I have the Lock'er Down EXxtreme console safe with their metal cased Electronic lock. It was pricey.

I love the 3.0L Duramax also. I average 27 mpg on trips and 16.5 towing my 21 foot bassboat. My best mpg for 25 miles was 41.9. My best for 50 miles was 35.4. I'm not sure where I was located at the time I achieved these numbers. I travel to southwest Virginia every month. I made two trips to Wright-Patterson AFB last year and one trip to Spring, TX. There isn't too much flat land in southwestern Virginia so these numbers must have from trips to western Ohio or on the way to Texas.

I'm not willing to pay MSRP for any truck after seeing that a GMC dealership in Tampa takes approximately 10% off of all new vehicles it sells. Of course some of their fees eat at that 10% but the price is still better than most. As far as tis particular vehicle goes I can wait. I'll see what price they try to sell it for at the end of the year or January when they're not selling vehicles because everyone is paying off Christmas debt.

It hasn't been cleaned yet and there was trash i the cab and bed. I won't touch it till they go below 75k if then.

Thanks for the info. It appears this truck was traded in for a Genesis vehicle after 4 months of ownership by a corporation. The dealership has the original window stick posted in their "Auto Ipacket" about the vehicle so they know what the original MSRP was. Yet they have a retail price of $91,250 posted on their website.

How much should a used 2024 Sierra 2500HD AT4 with 5900 miles sell for? It is Volcanic Red Tintcoat and has the AT4 Premium Plus package which includes the AT4 Preferred package and the Technology package and has the power steps. The MSRP for a similar vehicle is now $87,200 but was $86,380 when the truck was originally sold in June. I've always heard that a vehicle lost up to 20% of its value when it was driven off the lot. The dealer that took this one as trade is asking $87,999. I think $75K for a this truck is fair. What do you think?
