  1. Afternoon everyone. I need help with towing a 5th wheel. I understand that the load should be even and that you want everything to be as level as possible. However, I'm working with a 7in lifted Sierra. I know about adjustable necks/hook up's, but thats not going to take care of the angle/slope the 5th wheel is going to sit at. (Assuming it even clears the bed/tailgate) Anyone have any experience or insight on how to go about this?
  2. Don't know if you found a solution yet, but I follow a guy on YouTube "DoItWithDan" who did this in his truck. Might help..
  3. I second that, I would like to get on that list if your willing to sell the kit.
  4. Does anyone have the torque specs for reassemble of the calipers? 17’ 2500
  5. Do you by chance have a link or anything?
  6. No help from the dealer, sense they "couldn't replicate the problem". So, next time if or when it happens I heading straight to the dealer so they can see it and plug it in.
  7. That's what I was thinking, but was hoping wasn't the answer! Thanks for the info
  8. So this is the second time this has happened since I bought the truck last October, jump in my truck (2017 Silverado 2500 HD 6.6 diesel) and less then a mile down the road and everything starts shutting off (stabilitrak, ABS, trailer brake system, park assist) and warning lights coming on! Then a mile down the road they all turn off for another mile and them come back on and stay on. However the next morning I get in my truck to bring it to the dealer and everything is fine, but I dropped it off anyways, but I am sure their going to say that they couldn't duplicate the problem and give it back to me.! Does anyone have any suggestions?
  9. I’ve seen the video your talking about but I figure if they won’t turn off when I hold the switch in the off position then it wouldn’t matter if I took the spring out. The only reason I’ve been trying to turn them off is because I’ve been having a problem with the HID’s I’ve installed and I’ve been told to disassemble my DRL’s or just turn the lights off and obviously I can’t do that with my truck. Maybe I should just switch over LED’s and get rid of the problem.?
  10. ok, thats what i was thinking but wasnt sure. sounds good thanks in advance
  11. just wanted to piggy back off this since you guys seem to know a fair amount about lighting and mods. I have a 2017 HD and I cant manually turn off my headlights unless im in park. (i used to be able to turn them off even while driving in my 2011 1500) I was told that this was because my truck was first sold in Canada and US trucks dont do this. Do you know if this is true or are all the newer trucks doing this? Either way do you know if there is a was to mod it so i can turn them off whenever i need to?
