  1. No help from the dealer, sense they "couldn't replicate the problem". So, next time if or when it happens I heading straight to the dealer so they can see it and plug it in.
  2. Thanks for the info. Yeah I’ve tried the spring removal and due to the BCM it doesn’t work. Thanks though
  3. Excuse my ignorance, but what or who is whites?
  4. My worry is if I order a new one and they set it to my vin will that have the same set up on the lights? Or do i need to talk to someone directly when i order it to explain what i want first?
  5. Took my 2017 silverado 2500HD to chevy to have them reprogram my BCM. (truck came from canada and you cant turn off the light unless your in park! Safety thing canada does) But, the service tech said he cant SWITCH OUT my BCM because it's Vin'ed to the vehicle which I understand, but I wanted him to reprogram it which he said he can't do!? Does anyone know if this is true or how I can get this done?
  6. I didnt see if you mentioned it before but did you need any kind of wiring harness or anything for the LED's or were you able to plug them in and go?
  7. That's what I was thinking, but was hoping wasn't the answer! Thanks for the info
  8. So this is the second time this has happened since I bought the truck last October, jump in my truck (2017 Silverado 2500 HD 6.6 diesel) and less then a mile down the road and everything starts shutting off (stabilitrak, ABS, trailer brake system, park assist) and warning lights coming on! Then a mile down the road they all turn off for another mile and them come back on and stay on. However the next morning I get in my truck to bring it to the dealer and everything is fine, but I dropped it off anyways, but I am sure their going to say that they couldn't duplicate the problem and give it back to me.! Does anyone have any suggestions?
  9. Just dropped of the truck yesterday at the dealer and one of the things they had to verify was that my truck was switched from Canadian over to American to even see if my warranty was usable. (and they said it was) So, we'll see.
  10. I’ve seen the video your talking about but I figure if they won’t turn off when I hold the switch in the off position then it wouldn’t matter if I took the spring out. The only reason I’ve been trying to turn them off is because I’ve been having a problem with the HID’s I’ve installed and I’ve been told to disassemble my DRL’s or just turn the lights off and obviously I can’t do that with my truck. Maybe I should just switch over LED’s and get rid of the problem.?
  11. Gotcha, thanks for the info. looks good
