  1. That one looks like it could work. I would like more horizontal rail options on the side and more fishing rod mount options. But there are some options that could possibly work. I wonder if their rod mount could be mounted upside down under the top cross rails.
  2. It looks like that would be lower than the roof of the truck, or at least not higher. Our kayaks are longer than the bed so it would need a rack that can allow then to extend over the roof
  3. Has anyone found a good (and cool) bed rack that would carry kayaks and other fishing gear? I have seen some racks but the tops of them don't go higher than the cab. I am envisioning a rack that is taller than the cab by a little bit so that kayaks can be on top and extend over the roof without hitting it. I know there are some tall ones but to me they look more like work racks, and want something with a little more modularity/overland look.
  4. Did you go with XL load range or E? Looking at similar size for 20 inch wheels and have the XL or E option for that size (but not any bigger). Just don't want to add super heavy tires if I don't need it
  5. This may be a dumb question, but I have seen people say they rub in reverse. Why would you rub in reverse but not going forward?
  6. good to know. thanks
  7. i started getting an electronic whine kinda noise coming from the passenger side a few months after i bought my 2019 silverado. It definitely was not there at first, and was not in the loaner truck i had a couple months ago when they were working on stuff. it is for sure louder at lower fan speeds. the dealer replaced a fan assuming it would fix it but it didnt. they then were supposed to change a resister or something near the floor on the passenger side (thats where the noise appears to come from for me) but that did not fix it and they told me they called GM and they said it is normal, but i dont buy it. i am also not 100% sure if they actually changed anything the last time, or if they just called GM and then decided not to change anything based on what they said. Needless to say i am going to keep having them look at it because i know its not an issue on all of them at first.
  8. did you have to remove the factory "mud flaps" in order to install these, or do they stay in place? mine has those little flaps as well but i dont necessarily want to remove them to add fender flares. others flares that i have seen appear to not have the mud flaps installed.
  9. if your just wanting to stream music from your phone, you can connect through bluetooth and play music wirelessly but it wont use the android auto interface
  10. Has anyone had the 2 inch GM suspension lift added to your 2019/2020 Silverado? I liked the Trail Boss but they don't build it with the options that we needed for our family (they force you into front bucket seats once you add convenience package 2) so I went with an LT Z71. I see now that you can buy the same 2 in suspension lift that the trail boss has and they say its all tuned for the Silverado. The pricing actually didn't seem that bad to me so I am considering this since I am not really looking for a huge lift. I am not really that knowledgeable about all the different lifts out there so I thought I would just put this out there and see if this is a good option or if there are potential drawbacks to this GM kit and would be better served going with something else.
