I've been in the market for a new 1/2 ton, and the Silverado LT Trail boss was my top pick with the 6.2L. After reading the horrors throughout Facebook and on here, no way in hell I'm buying one. I've seen one person post they made it past 100k without lifter failures. I work in the auto industry and every GM dealer I talk to is making a killing on these trucks in the service lane from the warranty work paid for by GM. I wish they got their ****** together because now it looks like I'll be buying the Ram 5.7 before its gone, definitely don't want the Ford 5.0 because its the most boring vehicle on the road and the Tundra looks like its made out of legos with how much plastic is on it.
