  1. I've driven 3 of the 2.7 crewcabs. I currently drive a supercrew f150 2.7 and it feels a lot stronger to me. The regular cab should perform a little better though...
  2. Well i hate that. I like the looks of the regular cab Sierra over the regular cab F150, but not sold yet on the 2.7.
  3. If the regular cab short bed comes in a 5.3 this year i'll order it as soon as the 2023 is available to be ordered.
  4. The Regular cab Silverado can be ordered with a multi pro tailgate. It just doesn't show up on build and price. I hope the 2023 has a V8 option though....
  5. I drove a 2020 Sierra SLT premium with the 5.3/10 speed combo for three months, and it performed pretty well. Shifting was smooth and seamless.
  6. I agree with you on that one...
  7. I've been very happy with all of my new F-150s, Sierras, and now Silverado.... I will say the most fun truck to drive was my 2016 regular cab F-150 2.7 eco.. Really light truck, and lots of low end torque....
  8. If/when i do there's a dyno shop close by to get before/after. The flappers do seem to restrict the exhaust slightly because the don't close flush... If it does flow well enough with them in, then I agree i've wasted $50.
  9. I'm thinking of doing that, and getting a pulsar unit to keep it in v8 all the time. I actually like how my 6.2 sounds with the factory muffler...
  10. I believe removing the flappers alone would increase performance. And there are ways to keep it in 8 cylinder mode...
  11. I have the 2020 Black RST 6.2 .... I love it.
  12. I just purchased a Sierra crew 5.3 SLT. Wanted black, and only 6.2 was white. I drove the 6.2 first, and the 5.3 second. I really couldn't tell a difference between the two. I figured something changes maybe computer wise after some miles are put on them. I had a black Silverado Z71 RST 6.2 ordered with a build date of first week of April, and it was never going to be built... But I sure like all the features this truck came with....
