  1. I am not suggesting but STATING that something is wrong with your truck!! That is why they traded it in! My 2019 6.2L and 10 Spd averages 13-14 mpgs pulling my boat to lake house at 75 mph. My older 2017 5.3L with 8 spd did the same. So you getting 8 down to 6 is a-little suspicious. Now are there trucks out there that just get terrible mileage because of this and that?!? Yes, but very far and few. You couldn’t pay me in the past year to buy a used truck. With the crazy inflation and lifter issues that isn’t being addressed the correct way. (GM should Replace all of them right away when there is an issue, instead of one side at a time from what I have read and heard about here on forum). I would go back to the “stealership” you bought it at. Ask for all of its prior service records and have them pull it up to see if it’s been rebuilt. If it had, then ask to have them look it over, then I would push to have them work with you on extended warranty if you are keeping it. Is it just me? But they “ stealership” should inform customers on used trucks what is wrong with them! Especially the lifter issues. Isn’t anything $5k or above in damage supposed to be? With inflation redoing a motor or half a motor has got to be close to pushing $5k. Hopefully you get some answers. The good thing is that with high prices on used trucks. You might be able to get almost all your money back out of your truck to trade in for a HD. But they are over charging for used HDs right now. Cousin just bought a 2020 Denali and it was only $2500 less than a new one but the new one didn’t have heated steering wheel, cooled/heated front seats, and heated back seats. Chip shortage. He did get a lifetime powertrain warranty with it though so that a plus. Good luck.
  2. There was a reason why someone traded it in with only 23k miles! Stepdad had 2020 Sierra with 5.3L and 10 speed, and he gets above 20 mpgs all day long. Even 23 when driving very conservatively.
  3. I am a big fan of this new console shifter. I like the console shifter in my wife's new Traverse. Thing also rides amazing. If or when I get a new Gm truck. It will have a console shifter. Say what you want too, but I am not a woman!!
  4. Corsa Catback or Borla Catback. Borla has 3 type’s depending on how aggressive you want to go. Touring, S-Type, and Attak. The Corsa is very similar to the S-Type. Do it right the first time and have no regrets.
  5. Me too!! LOL, It kinda makes me think Gm has a new set of small block V8's coming?? Or getting rid of them all together and going smaller turbo motors. Which doesn't make sense to me because Ford's and Toyotas turbo V6's dont get any better REAL WORLD MPGs than GMs V8's Hell my stepdads ecojunk barely cracked 18...averaged 17 the entire 5 years he owned it, and prior to that his 2004 5.4L triton got the same, so he never saw a benefit in the turbo motor. Every article I have read on the new Tundra is basically stating same thing, Not making its EPA numbers. Here it was 3 mpgs lower! That's HUGE!! https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a39585902/2022-toyota-tundra-limited-crew-cab-by-the-numbers/
  6. So if I wanna build a ZR2 (like I did) would I have to just pay out of pocket for the exhaust? Like a did with my Corsa? If so I might as well go with the Corsa Exhaust again. Or I could use my GM rewards points to put down on this exhaust, correct?
  7. Interesting so TFL might have messed up, but when I built a truck on GMs website I clicked on the performance exhaust and it didn’t add it to total price of truck. Like it was already included??
  8. My buddy installs these and he installs CompuStar kits. They have a simple start/stop all the way up to a 3 mile range 2 way remote letting you know vehicle is started. I have a 1 mile Range that I’ve transferred from Acadia to trucks and it still works perfectly. Usually only have to install a new bypass kit which runs around $100.
  9. Borla has a system. I put in crew cab for ya, cause I couldn't tell if you had a crew or extended https://www.borla.com/products/chevrolet-silverado-1500-cat-back-exhaust-system-140800 https://www.borla.com/products/chevrolet-silverado-1500-cat-back-exhaust-system-140800bc 5Star has a module: https://5startuning.com/product/afe-scorcher-blue-bluetooth-power-module-2019-gm-silverado-sierra-1500-l4-2-7l-t-77-84013/ Good luck
  10. I agree with you as well! What is GM thinking not putting that ZR2 bumper on the AT4X. There is no difference that I have seen in the pictures between the standard AT4 and the "X". Very disappointing.
  11. LMFAO!! For sure!! They are the worst. Drivers Education is a thing in the past it almost seems. That's one of the first things my teacher taught me, pass with care in fast lane, and proceed back into the right lane!
  12. Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Its common sense. Infuriates me when I see this argument about gun control. I can set a gun in the middle of a room and it will NEVER pick itself up and fire on anyone!!! As for gas mileage, boy its been hard to stay off the throttle of the 6.2L, plus the dang weather here in Midwest just won't make up its mind. Its nice for 2 days, then cold again, them extremely windy. Can't catch a break!! $100 to fill truck up today.
  13. I didn’t see you post but what engine and tranny combo do you have. Any change from your 19 on power delivery or transmission shifting.
  14. For sure!! More power for that price, but also I noticed that the Trailboss is also going to have the black cowl hood as well. So only thing making this ZR2 look any different is the cut-outs on the bumpers....that to me is a huge mistake. The ZR2 should have the unique hood
  15. So TFLTruck answered my longing question this morning. The new ZR2 does come with Borla Exhaust. Sounds very good. I still don't know if it's worth $70K+ Enjoy the video
  16. That's great information! You never know on a re-fresh if something will work or not. Thanks for giving us an update! Sharp looking truck.
  17. I actually didn’t mind the looks of the 2019. The Flowtie in the bumper was unique. The 2020+ is also great looking. I wouldn’t be surprised in 20+ years the 2019 modes are sought out by collectors. the angle picture of the Silverado really shows how high they put the bow tie. Very interesting. Kinda like it.
  18. Not like tint does. Look at my videos. The guy states it’s just dyed. Argue all u want. I’ll tint over it because tint rejects more.
  19. It’s going to end! And end HARD!!! All I can say is: better have some money put away because a recession is coming!
  20. I agree. They should have gave the “X” the ZR2 bumper. Very strange.
  21. You got a picture of it? Would love to see one if you don’t mind. Congrats!
  22. Most dealerships don’t even have the refresh on the lots yet, let alone an aftermarket supplier. You’re gonna have to wait awhile for that.
  23. The 2 flapper valves are a huge restriction. If you remove them and add a muffler or straight pipe then yes, I agree. It is almost the same as my Corsa Catback in terms of the bend and diameter. You just don’t know if you will have the annoying drone or not with straight pipe or adding muffler.
  24. I have the Corsa Catback system and when my father (mechanic) and I removed the stock exhaust he could t believe the restrictions the 2 valves had on stock exhaust even when open. It was still almost 50% restricted. IDK the numbers on my truck with 6.2L but it accelerates way better than before. Awesome numbers by the way. Congrats.
