  1. I got a Range DFM disabler for my 2020 5.3L 8 speed. I noticed when i first start the truck it always chooses to use DFM for the first few miles including fuel cut off (99mpg) while on decel and then magically turns it off so it engages at random and i have no control over it. Does not do auto start/stop though.. Does anyone else have this problem? Do y'all unplug it safter every drive then plug it in when you drive again? After about 5 to 10 min it'll kick in and start working. I think the worst time to use DFM is when the engine is cold and that's why it drives me nuts and i end up putting it in L7 until the engine is up to temp then go into D...
  2. Update, If your rear end feels soft and rolls in the corner, the shocks are toast. After changing my crap ranchos out for Bilstein's it's a whole new truck now.. My ranchos would barley even rebound. I rarely tow or go offroad in Houston. 26k is all i got out of my rears. Fronts still seem firm and working properly. You'd think with Z71 they'd put some better shocks on these trucks
  3. Wow. May try this trick! My 2020 5.3 8 speed does the 1/2 slip bang cold, first shift of the day which is pretty annoying for a 60k$ truck!
  4. My rancho rear shocks on my 2020 Z71 are already super soft and rolley after 26k miles. I've ordered Bilstien 5100's for the rear and will report back. Lots of good reviews on them out there.
  5. Where is the best spot and price to get a pulsar? Also do you have to reprogram it every time you drive it to keep DFM off or does it save your setting and truck starts with it disabled every time..? Thx
  6. Interesting topic, shame this doesn't work. I have a Range OBD2 DFM disabler but for the first 5 to 10 miles it still allows DFM to activate which is annoying and not great for a cold engine.. I just leave my trans in L7 (8 speed) and keeps it from kicking on until i hit the 10ish mile mark on a drive. Once i hit around 10 miles or so I can put it in D and runs as it should on all 8 cylinders all the time... until i turn the truck off again then have to start the whole process over again. UGH
  7. I hunt around Alpine in December.
  8. Finally got some good pics of my 2020 LTZ 5.3L with some scenery in West Texas!
  9. I used the max racing kit off Amazon but most are all very similar. Either the spacer at the bottom of the shock or one on top of the coil spring. Mine was the spacer on the bottom of the shock.
  10. Thanks man! Yes I only have the stock Z71 LTZ. No other lift stuff. It'll look good!
  11. I'll see what I can do.. haha. I should have done better.
  12. hmmm I'll charge the battery then maybe for a night and see what that does if i get the codes again.. Nothing pointed to a low battery though. It was after i was driving for a few hours too which i thought was strange..
  13. Thanks guys! I had spacers on my previous colorado and had nothing but issues... noted on minus the chrome. Since they're the same width as stock would they look a little goofy with spacers?
  14. In the WB drive through yesterday I got a CEL light and these codes. Truck was still running fine with no misfires so I just parked reset the codes and continued home and haven't seen anything since. Anyone have these before? My truck was at a body shop for about a month and a half getting some work done after someone side swiped me.. Can't find much on all 4 codes online. Thanks! X
  15. Oh good to know. Thanks. I'll look into that!
  16. I've had a few inquiries about my wheel tire setup lately on my 2020 LTZ Z71 and figure I'd share since I haven't found anyone using this tire size.. No rubbing at all! 1.5in level 275/65/R20 (34.1")BFG K02's. Stock tires are 275/60/R20 (33")
