  1. you need front windsheild cam for lane departure, lane keep, auto beams and adaptive cruise. Hardware would be windsheild camera, windsheild, headliner harness, dash harness and switches. Then for everything to work right you need programming if it can be done. Rear cross traffic alerts is controlled by sensors in bumper step and I think that can be done. front and rear park assist are the 4 circles on front and rear bumper there is a module that controls.
  2. Hey Mark. Yes my doors appeared to have coax camera harness but body harness was a dead end. So I ran a continuous wire from side view mirror to VPM. If you need help, look me up on Facebook Jarett Logsdon. We can try using video messenger sometime and I can show you how I routed. When you get it working post a picture on here, would love to see some more successful 360 projects.
  3. I bought a complete dash out of a 2020 Silverado with HUD. I stripped the dash and cut open the harness. Removed the HUD circuits from donor dash. I then dismantled my dash. I replaced the center stack hvac vent which is narrower in a HUD truck. I replaced the drivers side vent which is flatter to let the hud mount clear. I cut open my dash harness and soldered the HUD harness circuits into my dash harness. There are 5 circuits that need tapped. 2 grounds, 1 power, 1 led backlight and 1 lin bus. Lin bus gets soldered into the cluster harness. 1 ground I soldered into the parking brake button. The other 3 go in to the main trunk of harness. I then cut the HUD 2 support mounts from the donor dash support and welded them into my dash support. There are 3 mounts for the hud support 1 was already there. I was then able to attach HUD support the mounts in my truck I connected everything and put everything back together and then HUD worked. I did not swap windshield there is a little ghosting. The HUD image is actually much bigger than I can capture in picture, I do not know why that is. I am thinking about tinting windshield slightly to help with eliminating ghosting.
  4. The rear view image and the hitch view image come from the same rear view cam so there is only one video coax running from rear cam to radio that controls rear view and hitchview(just a zoomed up rear view). If you look quickly at your handle you might think there are 2 cameras there but there is only one. There is a camera on the left the round thing on the right is a led light.
  5. I'm pretty certain trucks that have only hitch and view rear view do not have a VPM and this plugs directly into radio. I think it may be possible to upgrade these trucks with a new/used radio from a VPM truck. I was testing a used VPM today from a short bed truck, I have a regular bed. They are not VIN locked. There was some distortion with front cam. If you drive it will recalibrate.
  6. the image stays up and does not time out. if you have turn activated camera option on in the radio, it will switch to a side camera view based on turn signal or steering angle.
  7. For anyone with a bedview camera built into high mount brake light but no front cam
  8. After installing front cam, mirrors and swapping VPM I had everything with 360 cameras working great except invisible trailer. The radio app would not let me enter trailer dimensions so that VPM could calibrate correctly. I bought WAMS wireless android radio/GPS and my invisible trailer app works now. Just went camping this past weekend and everything works great just like from factory. Calibrating is done by driving foward at about 12 mph for 30 seconds or so then the invisible trailer image appears.
  9. that usb thing is for if you have memory card in console and usb plugs. the usb gets plugged into dash under heater controls, i dont know where that leads to. I do not think it is needed for wireless charger. If wireless charger is not working, I wonder if your missing other wires in your body harness since you did a jump seat to console conversion. are you still having problems?
  10. Nordstrums in SD is where I got mine. Frieght to PA. Check your harness under your driver seat check and see if you have the pins for cooled seats. I put pin out is in this post. You will gain power adjust passenger seat too.
  11. if you have a bedview camera you can upgrade your video processing module to the 360 one and have birdseye view. relatively easy and oem level function.
  12. $1000 for seats, $120 for switch, $400 for autosync. Sold my seats for $600 and I use autosync for other things. The seats allowed me to install power fold mirrors and have memory seats (memory control module is built into driver seat it controls folding) The mirrors allowed me to upgrade to 360 view. They all tie together. I did 360 view 1st, figured now I have mirrors that can fold I am going to try to get that to work. Bought seats and got fold/memory to work. Did the OEM wireless charger built into console when I bought the oem console harness I bought the one that supported heated rear seat. Autosync allowed me to activate the cooled seats and heated rear seats works perfectly just like from factory. Power fold mirrors and memory seats https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/242146-adding-dez-power-fold-mirrors-and-a45-memory-seats-to-a-2019-2020-silverado-rst/ 360 surround view https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/240624-adding-360-surround-view-uvi-trailer-camera-package-to-uvs-surroundinvisible-trailer-upgrade-2020-silverado-rst/
  13. Do you have vent holes in your seat cushion? look underneath for a vent motor or feel back of seat for vent motor bulge behind leather. Check your harness underneath your seat to see if you have all the pins. I had all the pins in my body harness so i figured all the wiring was there just needed to install LTZ seats.
  14. White automotive and media services WAMS now offers this activation with autosync. Works just like it does from factory $250 dollar upgrade if you already have autosync, you can use the new console harness from this upgrade to hook up an OEM wireless charger for another ~$120.
  15. Successfully added cooled seats to truck today thanks to White Automotive Media Services WAMS custom BCM programming. https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/product/t1-pickup-wams-spec-bcm-programming/ First I swapped my heated seats out with vented seats from an LTZ. I also gained power passenger seat, memory seats/mirrors and power fold mirrors (controlled by MSM in seat) see my other posts about this. You dont have to do all the memory stuff everything still works if you only want to swap to get cooled seats. You will need a new HVAC control switch that has cooled switches- 84692240. You will need programming. I purchased autosync device from WAMS. Autosync is awesome so many things to customize and new features are frequently added. One time purschase but you continue to have new features added. WAMS takes very good care of customers. WAMS added heated rear seat programming to autosync at my request! I loaded new files to autosync and programmed truck within 5 minutes I had OEM cooled seats and they feel great. All my wiring for seats were already present in my RST. Add heated rear seats too. See other post on that. Thank you Chris from WAMS!!!!
  16. If you wanted oem camera system it would be hard to add on a truck with no VCM but might be possible if you had ios or iot radio. I had an RST with a VCM because I had bedview package. A truck with only rearview cam does not have a VCM. I was able to add oem front cam by swapping VCM with a 360 one.
  17. $1000 shipped from nordstrums junk yard for pair. sold old seats for $600 on facebook.
  18. i think corona got fiatdale. pgamboa bought all the parts he is going to try eventually.
  19. Max trailering package is a different rear gear, heavy springs, a bigger diameter axle nothing with cameras. I do not have max trailering. I had the UVI package there is a camera in my high mount brake light for bedview and I had camera ports in my rear bumper. I had options for hitch view, bed view, inside trailer view, behind trailer view and rear view. I retrofitted the to UVS package which is UVI package plus 360 view and invisible trailer.
  20. Yes it recognized immediately for rear trailer viewas shown in picture. For the invisible trailer you need to drive slow in strait line for about a minute to calibrate camera as you do with $400 camera. If you take it apart the $400 trailer cam that gm sells inside you will find camera I used.
  21. For those of you with trailer camera ports on your trucks. Those GM accessory cameras are $400. Here is how to make poor man's accessory trailer camera. I made mine for about $130 dollars. Attached is a pic of my invisible trailer working. You can customize your length of wire too unlike the gm one. Parts 1. Cable Fakra A 9005 Black Female R/A - DVB-T TV Female Cable Assemblies Item# FKR-TV-F/S-FAKRA/A-F/RA (search this item number on segemart) Cable Type: RG316 Length: 50 (you can order what ever length you want I bought 50ft). https://www.segemart.com/index.php?route=product/search&search=FKR-TV-F%2FS-FAKRA%2FA-F%2FRA 2. 360 type Camera- gm part number 23390514 https://www.ebay.com/itm/front-camera-blazer-silverado-sierra-2019-gm-oem-23390514-84179367-360/193620949316 3. Mount- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SZSVT71/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 4. Casing- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F462RYR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 5. Adhesive tape and ties- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YJNVRWS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 6. 3/4 inch PVC pipe 7. Epoxy Glue 8. Wire conduit 9. Electrical tape Steps 1. Drill a hole in the mount bracket so the camera connector port with fit in a way where you can epoxy glue the camera to the mount. 2. Epoxy glue camera to the mount bracket. 3. Cut casing in half and drill a hole in the thick side for the camera lens to fit in. Use another half piece as a cover for the back. You can epoxy glue these onto the mount or use a thin long screw and nut to connect 2 casing shells. 4. Connect camera wire, cover wire with wire conduit and electrical tape and run line using adhesive tape and ties to hold up. 5. On the truck end of the camera you will can make a plug end over to slide over top the DVB plug end with PVC pipe. I put the DVB plug inside a PCV pipe and epoxy glued the back side in. I dremmeled 2 slits in the PVC pipe so connector would fit in port(see pictures)
  22. Yes, you have to have the trailer cam package to complete this retrofit. You know if you have the trailer cam package (UVI) if you have a camera in your high mount stop light but no video rear view mirror.
  23. not sure of part number but yes the fold and unfold with switch inside or key fob. menus to select fold and memory options become unlocked in radio too once memory seat module is connected.
