Can someone please help me out with a question. I have a 2020 Silverado High Country 1500 with the power up tailgate. I'm having trouble finding a replacement one for my damaged one on FB marketplace for the High Country. Over the past couple months there has been multiple new take offs from LT's, Rst, customs. My question is can I use one of those without the power up assist and put it on my high country and still get it to be a power up gate if I transfer all the parts from my factory high country one? What's the different about the power up vs non power up?

Hey!!!No,I have a 2020 LT TB with Conv Package 1 with the 8" IOR option code....I know you can get my same truck from the dealek with bucket seats option with conv pack 1 and it's basically what I have now...I bet that SD/Usb has to be programmed to the truck to work from the dealer....Did you use the sd/usb that came with your console,or did you buy new one??..I noticed on my 4" screen on my cluster when I have the Sd/USB is hooked it up displays a message for me to roll up my drivers window and put it down...It only displays that message when i hook the sd/usb up...It's absolutely ridiculous that's not just a plug and play...WTF?

Anyone running aftermarket front or side cameras???

I'm guessing the SD/USB is programmed to the previous radio/truck it came out of...It doesn't even make sense why it doesn't work

I did the conversion on my 2020 LT TB ....I got a full console with all the trim,brackets,harnesses,ect for 550$ shipped to my door from car-part.com...The console I received was literally brand new looking...The total swap out from my jumpseat to console took less than 1 hour...The only thing is the SD/usb inside the full console works when hooked up,but the radio freezes up when it connected...I'm think the SD/USB reader insise the console was maybe programmed for the different truck???Either way it bolts right up and is a super easy swap out ...

So,I did the jump seat conversion in my 2020 LT TB to the full console upgrade a couple weeks ago ....I bought the harness that connects the lower dash usb to the usb inside the console with the sd reader...I hooked everything up there's power to the charger cable i coming from it,but now my radio gets stuck on the gm screen and just stays there....I popped the inside the console usb/sd reader out and unplugged the usb that runs to the usb up front and the radio works fine now....Anyone know why this is happening??

I believe if you want that feature you need to have the IOS and up Radio to get that feature...If you have Conv package 2 you'll have it I believe..Kind of a useless feature if you ask me...

I'm having a glass guy install my slider this weekend...What trim level is your truck????I'm attempting the install on a 2020 LT trail boss ...I highly doubt there's any plug and play switches in my trim level...

I was thinking of adding the rear slider to my 2020 LT Trail Boss,but after reading through all of this I’m glad mine didn’t come with the rear slider...What a bunch of bullshit!!!! 40 plus K for our trucks and we have to deal with this bullshit??GM obviously knows about the issue and could give 2 ******...They really need to get there ****** together and fix every single one of these trucks that are having the leak problem...Totally unacceptable

I was going to do a similar deal with the RST,but the 8 speed transmission was the deal breaker for me...I went with the LT Trail Boss with the 10 speed Transmission and glad I did..IF your RST comes with the 10 speed trans then do the deal

I noticed that too when i took off the blank cap inside the cab there were 2 wires running into the blank plate...Why would they have the wires there if it's not plug and play?

LOL,I know...I was thinking though if I have a glass shop and install the rear glass and they seal it up properly it should prevent the leaking problem from the factory??!On the factory rear slider leaking issue is it due to the way the factory seals it??What causes the leak from the factory?

Has anyone installed a rear slider on 2020 TrailBoss/RST LT that didn't come with convince package 2????I have a LT Trail Boss with Conv Package 1 does anyone know if the LT with conv package 1 has the wiring already in there for the additional harness that is probably needed for the window????I pulled the overhead console down to add the auto dimming mirror and noticed there's a bug gray plug up there with nothing plugged into it...Is this the harness for the homelink and rear slider??I called the dealership to ask and they're literally useless...Hopefully some one here can chime in...Here's the gray empty slot up in the overhead that I'm guessing is homelink/rear slider???

I just added a flow master 40,and taped off the screens on the end of the tailpipes and it sounds good enough for me...Cost me 250$ for the muffler to get installed....I just didn’t see the 1500$ difference in adding the “GM accessories exhaust” when my truck was brand new and just needed the muffler replaced for the sound...

Infortainment.com has the whole XM setup you want where you add the XM module so it's like your truck came with the XM from the factory...It's somewhat pricey,but if you want the XM I think it's worth it...Check it out on there website

The stock Bose is trash...All the stock non Bose stereo needs is the door speakers to be replaced and your sound is better than the Bose with slightly less bass...You add the sub with. Harness from LLJ and your system will be 100x better than the stock Bose garbage...My buddy has the Bose in his 2020 High Country and I have LT Trail Boss non Bose ...I replaced my Stock speakers with JBL Club 6x9's and Club 6.5's and my system sounds better than his Bose...No to mention if you plan on doing a aftermarket system you want to go non Bose in your truck..

Will this work on a 2020 LT Trail Boss with the standard mirrors that come on the truck?I really only want the power folding mirrors ..So if I add the harness,and switches will that give me the power mirrors to work on the key fob?
