  1. So, it's been over a month since you installed this and no leaks? Must be leaking from the spoiler bolts and running to the top of the window from the inside. Goin to order this and try it myself!! FYI- I ran a similar rubber seal between the window and window frame on the outside, across the entire left side of the window and it didn't stop the leak....so I think it is coming from the spoiler bolt! Washed my truck yesterday and it's still dripping inside on the driver's side, at the plastic piece on the top of the window, still just a few drips but dripping nonetheless! This picture was a few months ago, but that is the spot, right on the corner of it!
  2. Probably right if you're a GMC, the Silverado's have no fender flare:
  3. I'm stock at 39-3/8" front , 40-1/2" rear (same on both sides).
  4. Mine is called a "Midnight Edition" and the "6.2" on the hood is black!
  5. I went with the RotoFab and I'm very pleased with it, great growl under the hood, performance feels great and IMO is one of the best looking units! I had an S&B on my 2012 F150 EcoBoost and it was good quality also, but after finding out it was on back order for over a month I went RotoFab, no regrets whatsoever!!
  6. I don't see it!
  7. Looks like the same series as my 06/20 build: ?
  8. Great info on the "Dr. ColorChip", I ordered one for all of my vehicles!!
  9. That is very disappointing to hear, I struggle with understanding how they justified that call! The leaking window issue is probably closely related to this issue. I love my new Trail Boss but have to admit this issue has me concerned and doubting my Chevrolet move! Good luck w/replacing and fact is that you will probably be better off with a glass company doing the job!
  10. Installed my Roto-Fab intake, I'm pleased. Looks great, with good quality components and R&R instructions. I like that it's not obnoxiously loud when I step on it but you can tell it's there, it's more of an aggressive intake sound now...like it's growling! The truck feels strong under heavy acceleration, still stock exhaust but you can note a slightly deeper note at idle and rev! Fuel economy....we'll see! I like it!!
  11. My wife's Explore offers basically the same service for no fee, in light of that I say "Nay"!
  12. Washed my truck last night and observed water leaking slightly more than when I previously discovered it. This time I found several drops running down the inside of the window (driver's side rear window, and yes it is a slider). I hoped this would not get worse but it clearly is, and it's only four months old with less than 3,000 miles....and we haven't even entered the rainy season yet! I am really upset with GM about this, they seriously need to to come up with a fix for this that doesn't entail a shoddy seal job from the outside of the window...the world is watching and this is your top selling vehicle!! Frankly, I'm still not convinced that it is coming from the window seal, thinking it could possibly be the roof spoiler??? GM, get your sh## together and get this resolved, it seems the only people that haven't had an issue with it are the ones who aren't looking for it!
  13. Pulled the trigger on one of these today, looking forward to installing and the subsequent gains in performance, sound, MPG and of course aesthetics, it's a great looking intake!
  14. Decided that I needed the matching front guards too!
  15. This is the TSB you'll want them to perform: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10165102-9999.pdf
  16. Worked for me, only been two weeks and about 1,000 miles but I'm very pleased!
  17. That's bullshit, my statement from the dealership reflects the exact same Service Bulleting as the one this post shows. I am very pleased with the repair...... the noise has been completely eliminated! Truck's rear suspension seem tighter and quieter!! I'd insist!!
  18. My CEL light came on for a while the other day (solid, not blinking), went by the dealership and had them read the code. It was showing it stored codes U0100, P25A2, U0146 . These had something to do with the brakes (some sending unit or other). At my service visit yesterday they performed TSB 20NA155, which I understand was a reprogramming of the computer. They advised that fixed the issue? The Service Advisor told me that if the CEL light was on but not blinking it's ok to continue to drive the vehicle until you can schedule maintenance. However if it is blinking then you should get it in right away!
  19. The dealer performed the TSB #19-NA-129 on my truck yesterday when it was in for it's first service. Only drove it from the dealership to back home but it feels great and no clunking sound when going over the driveway. I think it did the trick!
  20. Interesting story; I took my truck in for its first service this morning and while visiting with the Service Adviser I asked what their process was for repairing the leaking back windows on the Silverados, not that I wanted them to do it this morning but because I wanted to know how they were handling the issue. To my surprise I was advised that they were not familiar with that problem! This is the top selling Chevy dealer in Kansas and I would estimate they sell hundreds if not thousands of Silverados every year!! I expressed my surprise and shared that on the largest GMC/Chevy - Silverado/Sierra forum there are hundreds of pages pages about this issue....so there must be a plethora of active claims on it across the country, right?? Anyway, for now I am not going to have them experiment on me with a band-aid fix, I'll wait as long as I can... or until Chevy recognizes the issue and comes up with a responsible and effective correction to this problem! Needless to say I'm concerned!
  21. Exactly.. and I'll ring the highest bell necessary to get it done!!
  22. So....I sprayed my truck off at the car wash today, just like I've done a half a dozen times before, but today I noticed when drying it off that there were water drops on the inside upper right corner (driver's side) of the rear window. I had previously read about every page of this colossal thread and have been crossing my fingers and praying it wouldn't happen to me. Mind you It was minor but as leaks go I've never seen one get better in time. Frankly I don't think I am prepared to go through the hassle of repairing this as so many of you have shared on this thread. The re-calking of the window from the outside sounds like a nightmare...and from the pictures it looks like it too! Further, to add insult to injury the potential damage to the interior from sloppy techs sounds even less appealing. Up to now I've loved this new truck and take care of it accordingly, this is very disappointing ! Damn!!
  23. Sure, see my previous comments (just above) and attached instructions (with my noted changes)!
  24. That's odd, the compatibility reference indicates they will fit a 2020 Silverado LT Trail Boss Crew Cab with the 5.3... but not the 6.2 Mine is a 6.2 but I missed the compatibility cross reference and went with these because it was on the "fits these vehicles" reference chart: 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss Crew Cab Pickup 4-Door 5.3L 5328CC 325Cu. In. V8 GAS OHV Naturally Aspirated I think they simply failed to list the 6.2 version and subsequently it doesn't cross reference. Anyway they worked for me, although I did trim off the bottom flip over pinch tab... and on the very bottom tab I drilled and used another rivet since there was not an existing screw hole as the instructions suggested.
