  1. Isn't there a dash light, indicating when the headlights are on? Checking the state of that light may help narrow it down. If you switch on, and the dash light activates, it's not the switch, right?
  2. Oh, should have mentioned--yes, I know that I need to keep my original electronics in (coded to ecu), and I have a tool for ABS bleed.
  3. Hey all, I need to change out the ABS module on my '14 Silverado 1500. My question is whether I need to cut and re-flare the lines, where the meet the module, or is it acceptable to clean and re-connect the existing flared ends? I have not looked very closely, yet, but I imagine that I'd end up having to replace entire lines (if I cut and re-flare); as something is bound to come up short. Anyone done this job before, and have any other advice, any tricky issues waiting for me? Replacing the module with a pull-out from the junk yard. The pump in my existing part is failing, so I constantly have brake and stabilatrack warnings. If I whack the pump body with a wrench, the trouble clears for a few weeks. Apologies if this is the wrong forum, btw. Kind regards, R
