  1. A friend of mine has a '19, he changes his oil every 5,000 km. I know that's incredibly unrealistic and expensive, but to his credit, he has owned some of the worst and best made cars and they all made it 200,000+ km doing what does.
  2. If I were you, I wouldn't consider that option. Give it some time for that engine to build up a reputation, or get it with any of the proven V8's available.
  3. I was looking at two different tabs and I forgot to end it at "replaced/rebuilt", while I was going to save the rest for a different topic.
  4. That's some sobering news, I hope you resolve your issues and spend your hard earned money on something that actually works.
  5. The LS and LT engines are incredibly durable due to their heavily robust design (especially the iron blocks). That being said, while you'll see many GM trucks with high mileage, many other major components were replaced/rebuilt. I'd say 320,000 miles with regular maintenance, 500k+ if you really baby it.
