    I have a 05 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 with 220k miles and am replacing the head gasket and valve cover gaskets soon. I have a small oil leak and I'm losing some coolant. I'm newish to working on my own vehicles and this is the first time I will have done a maintenance item this big (my experience is limited to breaks, engine and differential oil changes and other minor cosmetic fixes). Is there anything else I should look at fixing/replacing while I do this while I have everything taken apart? Really just trying to extend the life of the truck as long as possible. Thanks for any and all tips!

    So I have a 05 Gmc and I want to upgrade the front suspension specifically the shocks it has a 6" lift on 35s any suggestions

    ADid some research on warped rotors and from everything I've found it says that the braking should feel different and you should feel some type of vibrations when braking and I don't notice anything like that

    It changes some when I brake not affected by turning, no vibrations other than normal no leaks that could affect it, (I have a motor oil leak) it's a repetitive noise that changes based on how fast I'm going

    So I'm kinda new to this whole work on your own car thing and I have a 2005 gmc sierra that has started to squeek whenever I drive from what I can tell it's coming from the front drivers side tire my first thought was maybe a wheel bearing but not sure haven't done much troubleshooting or research yet just didn't know if anyone else might of had the same problem
