  1. So, if a sensor is bad it requires replacing the pads? Even if they have life left? Dang... that's disappointing... I'm getting the "Service Brake Pad Monitor" message now on start up. 71,000 miles original brake pads. I haven't checked the Brake Pad life remaining. I suppose I should. Love this forum. Lots of good info.
  2. Sorry for the late reply. I believe my OEM mirrors were code DEZ. This is what I ordered from Boost. And, everything works. Plus, I have the blinker in the mirror glass now, however, it’s quite bright and somewhat distracting. I’m confident I’ll get used to it though…
  3. Installed the Boost Auto Parts tow mirrors... All functions still work just like OEM. Of course, now I need to change out my running boards to something black... and the wheels to something black... the modding begins!
  4. Got them installed... Excellent quality and easy to install. BAP has a very nicely detailed youtube video to walk you through it as well.
  5. Big news! Boost Auto Parts has released their tow mirrors for the 2019-2022 trucks. Preorder available and 15% off with code EARLY2019. They have a good rep. I just ordered a set. I hope they work as advertised.
  6. I believe Boost, mentioned upthread, makes tow mirrors for the 2019 and earlier trucks. Just not the 2020 and newer models yet…. best of success to you.
  7. Yeh, I’m patiently waiting for Boost to come up with a solution. I have mirror extensions, and while they are effective, they look like ******.
  8. Bumping this back up, as I'm once again looking at options for tow mirrors for my 2020 SLT 1500. I sent a message to the the guru and got the GM part numbers, but, hell, I'm not paying $2400 to add the tow mirrors with a chance some of the functions wont work. I have the DEZ mirrors. Anyone know of a good aftermarket option? The main features I want to keep are power folding and blind spot. Thanks
  9. Part numbers for the MF you installed? Thanks.
  10. The day I bought my 2020, I drove from Orlando, to Savannah. The next day, drove home to So Jersey. So, a bit more than 4.5 hours run time... ? So far, with 7000 miles on it in 3 months, no issues... Now, where's that piece of wood??
  11. Do you, or anyone, have a part number for the loaded mirrors that should allow most functions to work?
  12. Very cool. Thanks. Super pricey though, but, really not much of any other option.
  13. Thanks for the quick reply. What features will I retain if I go with the fully loaded mirrors like you did?
  14. These mirrors? I have lane alert, so these won’t work? Or they’ll work fine, but I’ll no longer have lane alert?
  15. Cool thread. I'm new to the forum. I recently totaled my 2012 Avalanche and picked up a 2020 GMC Sierra SLT with the max towing package. Like others in this thread, I need/want better mirrors for towing a 28' enclosed trailer. A lot of the replies here refer to the Chevy trucks, I'd like to presume it would be all the same for GMC. but... I have the convenience package with power folding, adjustable, heated, mirrors. I'd like to retain that stuff, but get the tow mirrors like in this thread. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks Pete
