  1. For 23 model year 5.3 powered Sierra's, there is going to be plenty of discounts and incentives available through the end of this month. Depending on where you live and supply, $12-14K is what I see available right now if you have a qualifying trade. 2009 or newer. GM and Costco incentives alone account for $7k. Most dealers in my region are offering $5-6K in dealer discounts from MSRP. High trim RAM 1500's - So many available, the original MSRP's are truly outrageous though. Almost uncompetitive with their competition. Limited series MSRP in the high 80's..... The Laramie's look to be a decent price though, Low 50's which falls in line with the comments of $16k off right off the bat.
  2. I really believe they just think an educated buyer is 2% of the type of buyers they deal with, meaning you walk and 10 minutes later the 2nd guy comes in and they get to rip the guy/girl off on purchase and trade simultaneously. The days of everyone paying over MSRP are over, they really need to get with the program. In my case the purchase price part was agreed in about an hour. Once that was done the trade back and forth was nearly 5 days. I also spoke with the GM and the needle started to move. Mine was an end of month sale (11/24). That could have played a part? My truck had been on the lot 86 days until I drove it off. Most of their other sierras very similar.
  3. I saw a lot of this when looking, some dealers were advertising and taking into account, Student Discounts, Military discounts, GM Loyalty and GM Trade and then 0.9 Financing which isn't stackable. It's a really good exercise in finding out the dealership you really want to deal with. The reluctancy for many of them to provide a complete sales order without you being there in person was also entertaining.
  4. I just got KBB high book value for my trade, Did the first offer from them come in that high?? Absolutely not but eventually they paid what according to KBB they should have. But any discussion on trade took place after the new vehicle price was agreed. $20K is excessive. but pretty sure I am not the only one who has had pretty decent luck with incentives, my 21 had a sticker of $56.5k - I ended up getting $8k off, $1k GM accessory cash and 0% financing on a 3-year term.
  5. There are some fairly recent videos on the Tube where they show RAM's of all flavors being marked up pretty badly, added $15k Market price adjustments etc. I can't validate that as I have never looked myself on a RAM lot. As far as GMC goes. There are deals to be had on certain models, trims and driveline specifications. My 23 was heavily incentivized, Both dealer and GM/Vender incentives. and almost $20k total off if including that absolutely absurd market adjustment BS addition that surely no one is paying in today's environment. I even laughed when the dealer still had the Market Adjustment add on still glued up on the rear window. You may get some dealer kick backs on a AT4 but the 3.0's are generally still in quite high demand, at least in my neck of the woods anyway. Gone are the good old days in terms of zero percent financing. Dealers are certainly not moving many $75k rigs at 7% + Interest. Rates will continue to drive incentivized products
  6. Yes, my 21 didn't do it either. My wife's non GMC branded SUV from 2013 has automatic steering and heat warmers when the temperature hit below 40. I always thought that was a neat option that we had not seen since.
  7. Does your truck come with the Bose premium sound system? Mine sounded a little muddled when I first got it. Played around with the audio control a little and now it sounds very good. Assume this is the reason you're looking at dash speaker replacements?
  8. Very similar here. I haven't had it on long enough to see if it evens out but shall try, At least i know its operating normally now !!
  9. I recently traded in my 2021 for a 2023 model 1500 Sierra. One thing I have noticed immediately is the heat my refreshed Sierra's steering wheel is putting out. It is significantly hotter to the touch than my previous truck. Infact, I turn it off fairly quickly after starting it compared to the older gen which I just left on continuously. Anyone else have a similar experience? Not really a complaint but certainly a noticeable difference for me. Heated seats seem roughly the same as before.
  10. I never run my cars through the automatic scratchers, When the truck is really dirty, I use a touchless wash otherwise every few days I just wipe down the panels and windows down using the ONR/Microfiber towel method. Wipe one way and turn the towel over and repeat. Takes 15 minutes tops
  11. I will snap a picture of the GMC Rubber mat tomorrow for you. My Tonneau cover was a cheap as chips roll up kind. Gator ETX - Link below. My expectations when I bought it was pretty low, I didn't want the added weight of a retractable or hard cover violin style. I also had concerns about room being taken as I also have the short bed. Got to admit I have been more than happy with the Gator. The slim line fit is also a major plus for me, I did not want something adding 3 inches of pad over the bed and covering the side rails. In the hotter climates when we were down in Arizona the cover done fine, very hot to the touch but that goes for anything. https://www.amazon.com/Gator-Tonneau-137245-Sierra-Silverado/dp/B07J2T7DZC/ref=sr_1_5?crid=2R0WQGYZYB7EV&keywords=gator+tonneau+cover+sierra+1500&qid=1701225755&sprefix=gator+tonneau+cover+sierra%2Caps%2C299&sr=8-5 Some pics I had on my phone for the Cover fitment.
  12. The tonneau cover will leak a little in the corners, I live in the PNW so that's more of an issue for me than maybe someone in the Southwest? The GMC Ruber mat i purchased for my previous SLT without a spray in liner. Ruber was likely going to hold up longer and be more practical for my usage. I went with GMC for two reasons. The fitment and i had about 16k GMC reward points on my truck purchase so I was able to use them towards to Mat. I am sure Aftermarket mats would fit just fine though.
