  1. Anyway... Has anyone been able to remove the chrome knobs from the climate control? Not that I don't like them, but I spilled soda on them and now they're stuck. I want to pull them off to clean everything up and get them to work again.
  2. I know it's an old thread but I have a similar issue with my 2021 Sierra. Soda spilled all over the controls and even though I immediately took compressed air to them, they are completely sticky and sometimes stay stuck. Has anyone successfully taken the climate control knobs off? I know mine are a little different design.
  3. Same exact issue with the cupping, the mileage, and the loud drone. I'm at 50k miles right now but have had this issue since about 30k; I just refused to believe there was something wrong on a brand new truck. I've rotated every 5k miles and the only thing that has accomplished is getting me shitty looking tires all the way around. I'm going with the KO2's soon. I ran them twice in my previous Z71 and got about 85k miles out of them each time. Only thing I don't like is that they're about 5 lb heavier than the Duratracs so I know I'll feel it at the pedal.
  4. Was there ever any update to this? Could a retrofit be done on the refreshed trucks? Or was there ever a solution found to get HD radio on the refreshed trucks?
  5. Let's say I stop to pump fuel. I get out, close the door, and proceed to start the fuel station up and pumping. Then I open the back door to clean some things out and then close it. Then I get back in the driver's seat to wait for the pump to finish. When I close the door, the truck honks 3 times. Then I try to lock the door and the truck unlocks all the doors. I think I understand why the truck honks because it thinks I'm messing with my truck and then leaving when I close the doors even though the remote is in my pocket. But the really aggravating part is that when I lock the truck using the button inside the truck door itself, it unlocks everything and won't let me lock it.
  6. This is what I'm trying to do. Unlock the driver door to get in, close the door, and lock it by pushing the lock button on the door next to the door handle inside. But the truck doesn't like it. When I do this, the truck unlocks all the doors.
  7. It's in my safe at home. I know the honking part is because of a scenario explained on another thread, but what about the locking (or I should say, unlocking) part? If the truck thinks the remote was forgotten inside, why does it go the extra step and prevent itself from locking from the inside?
  8. Aside from my truck honking 3 times after I get in and close the door, the doors automatically unlock after I manually press the lock button on the door. I've always had the habit of getting in my truck and locking the door before starting it up, but sometimes when I get in and press the lock a chime comes on and the doors unlock themselves. This seems kinda dangerous in a situation where someone would want to get in and lock the doors. Why does it do this, what is the point of it, and how do I turn this off? Any help is appreciated.
  9. Mine does the exact same thing. How do I turn that honking feature off?! I don't care for the truck to remind me that I left my remote inside (even though I didn't, because I AM inside the truck).
  10. How fast on average does it charge. Say, in a 30 minute window, how much? And does your phone show "fast charging" or just "charging" on the phone screen? Mine is extremely slow to be any useful. I get way better results by charging with a cheap cigarette lighter charger.
  11. Anyone ever figure this out? Mine also charges extremely slow. Way too slow to be useful, and it's not just on Android phones.
  12. Has anyone figured out how to make this thing charge any faster? Maybe it's just mine, but it charges at about 1% every five minutes. It's basically useless.
  13. This happened to me yesterday. I had just gotten a low DEF warning so I was going to fill it, but the tank only took about half a box. Between 1 and 1.5 gallons. Checked the gauge and it was full. I drove it for another 100 miles and got the 500 mile warning again, except this time it went from 500, to 300, to 100, to 60, to 10, to limp mode in about 30 feet. Took it straight to the dealer and of course, they turn it back on and it says 100% full. It's at the dealer now but like with the "crank no start issue", they've never heard about this and I'm sure they're going to find nothing wrong.
  14. How do you like the wireless charger? Mine is ridiculously slow on my Galaxy Note 10+. I get a way WAY faster charge if I just plug it in with a cigarette lighter charger.
  15. Do you still have them? I'll take them off your hands! I live in Houston.
