  1. 2015 Sierra. Original wax coat.
  2. I didn’t hesitate on buying a 48k mile ‘15 Sierra WITH a 4/48 comprehensive warranty. Frame rust and all. No ragrets yet
  3. I hate to make my first post on here such a simple question but I had all of the components mentioned above serviced about a week after purchasing my '15 Sierra CC Standard bed Z71(which I'm loving so far) and after picking it up I noticed a pretty strong gear oil-like smell come through the vents when I come to a stop but then it dissipates when I start moving again. After inspecting everything I did notice quite a bit of oil on the t-case guard which I wiped off but it's been about a month now and this odor is still hitting my nose through the vents every time I come to a stop. So does gear oil take a while to burn off or something? I've wiped down everywhere I can and there are currently no leaks. Trans is sitting at around 200 degrees in city driving. Thanks for any info!
