  1. Specifically referring to the crank/no start situation. I have a ‘21 sierra 3.0 and it was doing the crank/ start situation as well as a few other things. I took it back to the dealership for repairs and they said they had heard of it and there was a TSB on the issue. Their first repair is a shim on the reluctor wheel, if that works your good, if not they have to tear the motor down and do some other repair. They did the reluctor wheel shim on mine and it has been flawless since then, almost a year.
  2. Either a Ram Rebel. I’m digging that red interior. Or a Tundra. Every time I see one or a commercial it makes me want one more than my sierra. Never owned a Tundra, owned a ram in ‘98 and it lacked quite a bit in the quality department. My choice for Tundra or ram is purely based on aesthetics.
  3. I understand there’s always a chance of leaking, but this is just excessive. Plus I finally have a truck with a sliding rear window so you can hear that soft cover flapping when you’re driving. I just wasn’t thinking about it when i bought it. I’ve never had a hard cover, but I think that’s what I need. Either hard folding or retractable, just haven’t decided.
  4. I got the stake holes covered already, i just didn’t realize the stake holes drained straight to the ground till i looked through them yesterday. I just want a waterproof cover and its disappointing that Lund cover wasn’t, neither was the replacement. I don’t think they still sell it, which makes sense.
  5. I assumed the stake holes allowed water directly to the bed. I was going to get a cover that goes from edge to edge and covers the stake holes to be safe, now I just need to pick one that is actually waterproof. Of course the one from Lund is supposed to be waterproof, which it really isn’t.
  6. Do you have the rear stake holes covered?
  7. I currently have a Lund advantage tonneau cover on my ‘21 sierra with the 5’8” bed. It’s a soft top with the fabric not the shiny vinyl. I have the covers for the rear stake holes as well. I had the cover on and it seemed to be leaking. I said something to Lund and they replaced it for free. This one leaks too. I can’t tell if its the cover or it’s leaking through the stake covers? I just want a waterproof cover, even if its a hard cover or better stake hole covers. Has anyone had leaking issues like this and what did you do to resolve the leak? Also, this cover will not let the tailgate open remotely, it has to be pulled down. And, the top multi tailgate won’t open at all unless i lift the cover and pull it down. Please help
  8. I knew there had to be somebody out there that felt the same way
  9. Yes, the stock 20’s are 33’s and they fill up the wheel well quite a bit. I’d rather buy a lift that accommodates stock wheels that way i could put them on in the winter, or use the same wheel but find bigger tires. I don’t care for the offset look anyway.
  10. I’m trying to get 3.5” in the front. I wonder if I could use a pair of trailboss or AT4 UCA’s? There’s a guy selling a pair local on marketplace. Or I just need to find a kit that cooperates with the factory 20” wheels.
  11. I’m trying to find a coilover leveling kit/lift kit for my 2021 sierra 1500, crew cab, diesel, elevation with 20” wheels. I want to reuse my stock wheels and tires as there’s nothing wrong with them and I like them. Some lifts I want, like the cognito say you can’t reuse factory wheels. But, some like the BDS say the 20” is ok, but the 17 and 18 won’t work. I would like to use a coilover kit with UCA’s, if necessary, preferably something like FOX shocks or comparable. Does anyone have any input on this, or any real world experience running this setup on their truck.
