Woah! That was fast! Are you hanging around or going a different route? @GMC4Zee Your order time is highly dependent on many factors. The primary one, however, is how many allocations your dealer is provided by GM AND how willing that dealer is to apply one of those (usually only few) allocations to your order. Remember, they have to think of their own floorplan/stock as well. GM also will only sometimes only allocate certain trims, engine-types, etc... Best to find an honest dealer who will shoot you straight. GM backed off on their allocations in December / January (somewhat normal). My order was prioritized with the dealer (I trust him. Worked with him for almost 20 years.). It was placed mid-December, got picked up end of December and now has a build week of 2/15. I assume I'll see it early March. (Only live 70 miles from the plant so delivery times are decent around me.) I read about holding incentives but I didn't pay much attention due to my access to employee discount (most incentives won't work with emp disc).

I was reading over the airbag install last night. Looks straightforward and something I'll handle. I'm a little more concerned with the (potential) suspension work, though, and need to find a local shop that I can trust. Further complicating my decision is my expectation that I'll have steering noise issues (and maybe other drivetrain related questions). I'm nervous about the dealer giving me warranty grief. Some kits do touch the steering components and I can hear the lecture already......

Is it just me or does that sit pretty level as is? Did you adjust the torsion bars? I'd like to avoid suspension work (shocks, arms, etc) if I can but still leaning towards Cognito. I will be putting bags on for towing either way, though. Looks great!

Anyone have pictures or location tutorials for the final three? I imagine these may the more difficult ones to find that don't or haven't spent a lot of time around suspension components....

I was wondering that too. I'm assuming I'll be one of the first AT4s with the factory option. Happy to take pictures/measurements when it arrives in the next few months. Judging from your name, you must be a local! (I'm in Canton)

According to the GM Online Ordering guide / site, there was a distribution update a few weeks ago that made this option (B3L) more widely available. I was able to slide this option in to my AT4 order which just got picked up by GM this week. I'm super happy as I was torn between the high-clearance step and the normal offering; however, I REALLY wanted the retractable only available on the Denali trim at the time.

I'm still not seeing how the Denali seat is any different. Maybe something changed in 2021? Quality of leather? Maybe. But in my experience, (Yukon Denali's over the years) their leather isn't much different than LTZ Yukons, etc. My images above also do not show a huge different in leather quality, seat adjustments, sizes, etc.

I currently have an AT4 on order. However, GM hasn't "picked up" the allocation so I still have time to change it. This thread had me worried so I had my dealer go out and take a pic of the AT4 and a Denali seat. I'm not seeing a difference, personally, other than the brown insert on the AT4. What am I missing?

Has anyone had luck with covers that were compatible with swingout toolboxes available from GMC/Chevy? I'm looking for something to keep items close to the tailgate for easy access. But I note that many covers may have clamps/hardware that may interfere.

Thanks Brent. I have to keep the truck somewhat low due to the wife factor so a full lift is out. She’ll drive it quite a bit and doesn’t want to crawl in to the truck! LOL A level can likely be snuck in if needed. I’m considering that bag kit as well if needed. I’ve had Denali’s for years (Yukons) but really liking the looks of the AT4! Congrats!

Hey Everyone - Working on getting a 2021 Dura (either AT4 or Denali - can't decide yet). The vehicle will be used to haul a 8500-9000lb boat with appropriately distributed tongue weight. I've never considered a lift or level kit until now but really like the newer body-style setups with ~35+" tires. I understand the factory designs a rake in the suspension setup to keep the vehicle level when towing a load. My goal is to not upset that characteristic and capability and I'm therefore hesitant on leveling. (I definitely don't want a squat when loaded with luggage/gear in the bed and boat on the back.) Can anyone comment from experience or their own research? Keep the stock ride? Will 35's fit (I assume that's the max)? Good experiences with a leveling kit, larger tires, and towing? Apologies for the mundane question. Again, first time considering a level or lift kit. Thanks! Great info here!
