  1. Congrats on almost hitting 100k miles on it! I can't wait to get there at some point. I'm at 26k as of this morning. I do currently also drive the diesel with the LM2 (2022.5). Any problems during your ownership? The only problems I've had so far are just interior gloveboxes that both are replaced due to rattling, and heated mirror harness because one of the mirrors was not defrosting quicker then the other. I personally would keep driving the truck especially if you crossed over 100k and paid it off. I will likely get close to paying it off by the time I hit 100k miles.
  2. Interesting. I didn't know they came in a key ignition type. Might be fleet? I'd imagine any sort of aftermarket place can install a remote-start.
  3. Mmm I thought about adding dynamat as well in my Denali. It's already quiet, but could be better. Lol
  4. I have a refreshed Denali. Wireless Carplay seems to be a hit-or-miss. I have BT/Wifi on my iPhone. The truck seems to connect automatically 8/10 times and for those 2 times that it doesn't I have to reboot the infotainment OR just unpair, and repair the iPhone. (This can take a few minutes and it's frustrating). Now, in my other refreshed Sierra (Elevation) I generally just plug in manually with a cable and never have those struggle bus issues. Am I missing something here to why it seems to not see it sometimes, and other times it does? Both iPhone and the truck are on the latest versions. I have no problems going wired, but I'm just trying to understand how in the world this can work and not at the same time. It's frustrating when you're trying to get somewhere and it just doesn't projection automatically. Anyone else experience these weird bugs/problems?
  5. THANK YOU. I'm blind. Lol I figured it out! This resolved it! PHEW!
  6. @newdude I am not getting any sort of alerts on the instrument cluster. The only thing I turn off all the time is the Auto-start stop and the lane keep features. I dislike it steering me outside of the lane. Its the button next to the Parking Sensors to the left. That is the "lane keep assist" button. The indicators have the little car with the star but they do not light up.
  7. I just bought a 2022.5 (Refresh) Sierra Denali (W/ Reserve package). I did talk to the dealership, so It will be brought in Saturday to take a look why the BSM is not working. When traveling next to cars it does not alert on the mirrors that someone is in my blindspot. I was curious if anyone else has had this problem? If so, what did they end up doing to resolve it? I've came across one post on Google that someone had the BSM module replaced, but that's all I saw. Could it be a software update, or just a hardware replacement? It is still under factory warranty. Maybe it's something I need to toggle in the settings?
  8. Hi all! I have two Sierras in my fleet both are 2.7. I'm trading up from the 2020 Elevation to 2023 (refreshed) Sierra Denali w/ the Duramax motor. I love the way the 10spd feels and the way the motor performs in a half hour drive. Also experienced what regen is, so that was good to see. Now, as for DEF fluid - Is there a specific brand to go with? I shouldn't be towing as often but I do know if I do, it'll require some DEF. Is there a specific brand to use? I do have a truck stop by me that I pass twice a week, that does have DEF at the pump available. Additionally someone has recommended me to use additives in the diesel tank every so often to prevent soot or something in the engine. I did read the manual and noticed they have a recommended product for it, but was curious if there is one better than the other Etc. Thanks in advance!
  9. Love reading that someone hit 100k! How has it been? any sort of problems with the 8spd automatic? I have a 2020 that just ticked over 70k, and a 2023 that just ticked over 6500 miles. Both have been smooth sailing. The 2023 transmission feels much smoothier than the 2020 but the extra torque/hp is also welcomed.
  10. Well that's a bummer. It's also an expensive kit. If that's the case, then that means it still has that rake. What are my other options? I see people install like 1.5" leveling kit from ReadyLIFT and call it a day? Or go back to the idea of bilsteins again? Unless some other options..
  11. Just passed 6000 miles and I want to get the truck leveled. My 2020 truck is leveled from using bilstein 5100s. It's rock solid for the last 45k miles, but it's a bit stiff. Now that I have a '23 Sierra, the stock suspension is pretty soft and I dig it for long drives. Now, that I'm still under factory warranty - Should I consider looking at a 2" leveling kit from the GM Accessories store, it includes a camera recalibration. I have a '23 Elevation with the turbomax motor. I would prefer to retain the feeling of it being soft ride rather then a stiffer one. Am going to keep the stock wheels with the stock A/T tires option. Any thoughts?
  12. Gosh. I wish I had a 36gal tank over the Sierras stock tank size (1500). Lol
  13. Thanks for making this post OP! I've been shopping quotes for my sports-car for ceramic and I'm seeing like $1000-1600 for ceramic on the sports-car. Thought about doing it on my Sierra, but I truly don't wanna spend that kind of dough. I wash mine often, touchless.
  14. At the time I had an 20' Explorer earlier this year. Had it in for a recall, and was driving a 22' XLT for 2 days. I found it really impressive with the smaller motor. But the price tag is a mouthful. I want to say it was north of $50k new. I definitely find the Sierras interior far more elevated then the Fords. What kept me from Ford F150s was the stupid SYNC problems I had in my Explorer, which I'm sure wasn't much better in the truck. I couldn't afford a Denali but I always have preferred trims that are in the mid-tier. I will say the Ecoboosts (smaller and big 3.5) is impressive torque. For me it was 10k off MSRP of a new 23' Elevation. So I went with that. I definitely will side with you. The stock audio system even in the Bose setup is lacking. I'm gathering quotes for a full system with amplified speakers as well. Reverse rear lights are the best to upgrade. I did the same on my 20' as well.
  15. I've heard mixed thoughts about additives. I just put gas and drive. Nothing will last a decade anymore.
  16. Going through something similar on my 20'. What part # did you use to order the hood latch? And how much did it cost to get swapped out?
  17. I cringe on the times I need to get a car wash but there is a line for touchless, so I just yolo going into the car-wash that is on the belt. My only irritation is my passenger mirror closes due to drying force.
  18. The only question I have is - If you have the pre-collison breaking but not the super-cruise stuff (Elevation trim) can you still level/lift without causing problems with the pre-collison stuff? Or are you able to get that recalibrated?
  19. I do notice a huge difference in terms of how quick the steering wheel gets warm, but I like it. I usually have it auto turn on the seats and the steering wheel anytime I get in, or a passenger gets in. As someone who always misplaces their gloves it's great! If there is one thing that GM does well is they do not lack on heated seats/steering.
  20. My trucks sit outside. I like to remote-start the truck if it's cold enough give it 5-10 minutes by the time I get out and settled in. If it's warmer out, I usually will just sit in the truck until the RPMs drop to normal then be on my way. Usually within 1-3 minutes. I don't really care "wasting fuel" like some users mention here. I have the four banger in both trucks.
  21. As someone who doesn't really use the truck bed often, I didn't get the optioned liner inside the rear, but I ended up buying a Rough Country Bed Map and it grips really well. When I throw things in the back they don't move around. I'm happy with it.
  22. No other codes are showing actively when driving, or starting up. The mechanic would have to plug in and check. I don't have a tool myself. Prior to this, it did work yes. The truck doesn't get washed often, but if it does it will go through a touchless or one of those that go on the belt.
  23. Hi, Both key fobs for my 20' Sierra is not working for remote-start. However it does unlock/lock/open tail gate Etc. I've replaced both batteries in the fobs, and tried again no luck. Anything I'm missing here? Previous to this problem: I had a CEL due to a TSB that was resolved the other day. The GMC Dealership instructed us to wait after the CEL clears to attempt a remote-start. A friend of mine (former mechanic at the same GM dealer) mentioned that an electronic hood latch could set the computer to not allow remote-start (odd I know). He mentioned I'd have to pop by and have him plug in the truck to the system and see whats causing it to not remote-start. I'm still planning on doing so, but in the mean time has anyone else witnessed this problem? I've been researching but doesn't seem like much information, maybe just bugged out? Some websites show like low coolant, or pressure but I've never seen an error on the dash Etc. The truck just ticked over 60k. My 23' doesn't have this issue.
  24. The only thing I've had to do with the 2020 that I have is the EVAP Purge Pump/Valve whatever it is. They had to drop the gas tank and put the part in. It was a TSB. (59,800 mi)
  25. Hoping my 23 that I bought 2 months ago applies to that lol. 5/100k is a solid warranty genuinely!
