  1. Nice setup! I didn't go with all of that, I just added the Kicker subwoofer kit with the amp that comes with it, and that made the bose system wake up. Definitely don't need to upgrade the speakers after that. However, I've had an elevation in the past, the sound system is pretty ******.
  2. If you have no codes, or past codes - Just drive it until it comes on. I don't have that issue though. When the windchill was -20F, around 0F I had the engine block heater plugged in for a few hours. Started right up. But never had any of the issues your describing. Same motor.
  3. IDK. I agree with that, but I don't. B/c Diode shows a specific one for 2019-2025 GMC Sierra.
  4. Zero issues using the denali side-steps that come with my truck. If it gets close to like the 0F I still have it coming out. The only time I turn it off, if it's going to be freezing, with ice in the forecast. I do have the dealership lube up the motors here and there just to prevent squeaking.
  5. I've been trying to pick these up, but they're on backorder for 8 weeks out. Which seems absurd. Any ideas where I can get them?
  6. Ha. I forget that I have the kicker system in my tailgate. Does that run on the battery with the truck off?
  7. The only issue I had with the defrost was my driver side mirror wasn't defrosting as good as my rear and passenger side. The warranty replaced the driver side one, and fixed that issue. As for my windshield it's been working great for defrosting on the wipers, I do wish it was better, or maybe have some sort of gimmick to heat the windshield/wipers like some other big name trucks do.
  8. I saw some people recommended 2" hitch led reverse light that just easily connects in, for reversing. The cameras on the truck are clear as day, but the actual reverse lights are piss poor. I had upgraded the halogens from when I owned an Elevation, but in this trim it's impossible. Can anyone recommend me something?
  9. Woah. That's weird. Mines going in this week for the subwoofer/amp install from GM Accessories, but I prepaid them to install it for me using the 20% coupon to basically pay for it. I would think it's weird that those 2 things are associated. Is it possible?
  10. What are my options for leveling on my 2022 Denali (refreshed) with ARC? It's a Denali with the reserve package (22" wheels) Just crossed 35k miles on the truck and I'm loving it. The tires are starting to look like of it, and might need a replacement in the near future. I'm considering leveling out the truck and replacing the tires. I made the mistake on my previous truck (2020 Elevation) went with the wrong load range of tires so it was really like rough/loud road noise. The previous truck had Bilstein 5100s with AT3W tires. TDLR: Looking for a leveling kit and tires
  11. Took about 90 minutes. Depends on the servers for downloading the software, and then it doing it's own thing. If you can, have the dealership give you a loaner, whilst you drop it off, then just pick it up at the end of the day. That's what I did.
  12. Has anyone installed the putco tailight bar? I wonder if that shines up the reverse lights, and the cameras when in reverse. I find the LED ones by default to be a little dim. Previous truck I was able to swap out the lights.
  13. Title. My local GMC states $3500 for up to 100k warranty for bumper to bumper. Whilst another reputable GMC Dealer but in PA is $1900 with a deductible. Both are genuine GMC Plat warranties. And according to the GMC website, the warranty can be bought in another state, and used in another. I believe I'm getting the run down, at the local dealership by them trying to get me to spend more, just cause. I was going to call GMC this week and ask their opinion. I do not want to buy a 3rd party warranty, just want to stick with GMC. Truck is at 29k.
  14. When it comes to tonneau covers, I generally search on FB Marketplace before buying them new. Especially the quality ones like BAK. I bought one for my other Sierra in my fleet for $300. Ended up having a problem with one of the mounting brackets, and BAK ended up replacing them for free, even if it was originally someone elses. My Denali came with a REV trifold, it's heavy and sturdy.
  15. I've never put my truck in sport-mode, hell if anything, I'd love to hear the diesel more. Lol
  16. I hope the dealership replaces the unit for you. I generally don't drive with my camera rearview mirror on, I guess I'm scared for if it goes bad. But at the same time, I do find it awesome when on a multilane highway it basically cleans up the the blindspots around the truck. Ever since I tinted all my windows again, and in the rear back half from factory It's removed all the glare from interior lighting to the windows, so I just roll with that versus the camera rear on at night, or most of the time.
  17. I currently have a Denali with the reserve package, it does not have super cruise. It is on the 22" wheels. I've been debating on leveling it out, and or lifting it 3-4" to fit 34/35 wheels. Is this doable, and if it is what are some recommendations for lift kits/leveling kits. I did something similar to my Elevation prior, by purchasing bilstein 5100s and leveling it out, and just replace the tires but keeping the wheels themselves. I dig the stock 22" apart of the reserve package for wheels, but I'd definitely get different tires. I haven't seen many photos of Denalis getting leveled/lifted, was hoping to see some ideas.
  18. If you've leveled a Truck I feel like the speedometer is off 1-2mph, I think for it being $900 I'd rather just deal with it being inaccurate by 1-2 mphs. I feel like at that price it should do more, like a pulsar lt
  19. I have them actually order a similar part, but in my Denali cause I can push on it and it's loose or have too much play into it. I had both the advisors and the tech look at it, to see what I was talking about it. So that part is on order. Figured I'd have that replaced whilst it's in for that recall/software update
  20. Yeah I had both of the glove boxes replaced and I still hear rattling. I don't know what it is, but it's driving me insane. So much so that I keep complaining about it. Under the infotainment screen between the HVAC controls and the screen itself their replacing the entire trim piece that looks like a one-piece all the way to the passenger side air vent. I'm thinking of may having them open up the parts in that area and reseat them. It's abnormal to hear this rattling unlike you said something is loose. I've seriously considered getting rid of it at this point, at how annoying it has become.
  21. I can understand doing this upgrade from the stock sound system. The stock one in the Elevation and other variants without bose are horrific. The bose ones I found to be really good compared to some other offerings out there. What made you upgrade? I thought about doing this in my Elevation in the past, and then when I bought the Denali went with the Bose option. To me it seems pretty good. I think the only thing I'd like to add if possible would be dynamat to the doors.
  22. From my understanding as long as your in the 5yr/60k warranty it'll get replaced if anything happens within that time for the lifter issues. I went with the duramax to avoid lifter issues, and I don't regret it. But It does suck to pay $60k and have to think about when/if something will happen. Just maintenance accordingly, and drive it. If you decide to keep it long term, might be worth purchasing GMCs warranty, but unsure to the costs.
  23. iOS user here - Usually we have to keep our WIFI and BT on in order for it to take wireless projection (CarPlay) I believe the same procedure happens for Android Auto, Another option could be wired AA.
  24. Just checked recalls through the app (myGMC) and I see the incomplete for the recall of N242435631. This is perfect timing cause now I can request a loaner vehicle and leave it for a day for it to get updated. Sigh. I hope this actually improves something. Lol
  25. Tile. Context: I've owned my Denali for 6 months now, and bought it used with 15k miles. I've put on about 12k miles since then. In the last 2 months I started noticing rattling going on from the passenger side. At first I thought it was something to do with the passenger side bose sound or something. Come to find out the top glove box (unsure what the right way to call it is) but the mechanism that launches it open was rattling while driving. I saw some posts on it on Reddit, but decided to drop in to the dealership to ask about it. They were able to identify and replace (took 3 weeks to get the part). Fast forward to mid Sept I started noticing the bottom glovebox rattling while idle and when driving or hitting natural roads it would rattle. I was able to replicate and record a video while doing so. And they've scheduled a replacement day this week for this issue. Has anyone else had weird interior "problems"? It has been driving me nuts. [Insert comment about how much we've paid to get crappy interior quality]
