  1. Sorry to bother you again, I know you're extremely busy with this. What's the email address and hours/days you can accept emails? Thanks, I really appreciate it.
  2. Gotcha. This (a Suburban/Tahoe model) is the only way to get a Chevy color cluster in a 2016, correct? Do you happen to know if part # 84254166 would be correct?
  3. GTPprix, I have a 2016 Silverado LTZ. I saw that some 2016 Suburbans/Tahoe's had the Denali-like cluster, which had the correct Chevy "blue" color instead of the GMC red? If I could find one of these Suburban/Tahoe clusters would they work in a 2016 Silverado?
  4. I just put in the Sylvania Zevo 921's in my backup lights last night and also put in the 124's in my license plate connectors.......wow! What a difference these bulbs make.
  5. I had an older Range in my 09 Sierra with no issues. I bought a 16 Silverado and sent my Range in for a firmware upgrade. Just got it back with ver. 8.6 installed. No issues so far after two days
  6. Heck...I don't know You're the mod/wiring expert. I'm just giving ya a hard time. But I would take a harnass if you ever build one
  7. So....any progress on that pigtail?
  8. I love the rear slider. If you're driving on the highway with the side window(s) open, you sometimes get some weird air pressure issues in the cab. Open the rear slider lets the air move through the cab freely and gets ride of the noise and pressure issues.
  9. Doing some research online and I see quite a few posts from people who say not to spray any type of cleaner into the engine as it has a good chance to cause damage to pistons and cylinder walls from large pieces of crystalized deposits breaking off. What are some of your guys' opinions on this?
  10. That's why I love this forum! I will do that. Does the CRC product come with the same type of applicator straw like the Seafoam product?
  11. It's better or different than the Seafoam treatment? I have the Seafoam stuff already, but if CRC is better I'll do an exchange
  12. That's awesome. I'd be interested when you start doing this. Like I've said, I have the 2-pin connector under the dash, but it's dead.
  13. Great video! Thanks guys for producing that. Can anyone provide a video or some screen shots of how to run the wire from the fuse block if you have the connector under the dash but it's dead?
  14. Are you still making this wire for people?
  15. Ok....I had engine running and had no voltage. So I'll look earlier in the thread for these other pins/connectors. Thx
  16. So I finally got underneath the dash on my 2016 LTZ. I have the connector/harness for the heated steering wheel, but it appears to be dead. It should show 12 V with the engine running correct? Mine shows 0 (unless I'm just not finding a good enough ground to test with). Having not read through the beginning of this thread, what would I need to make that harness hot?
  17. Resurrecting this thread. Just bought a 2016 Silverado with the 5.3. It has 15,000 mi on it. I will be adding a catch can (haven't decided which one, they all look good), the Range module and doing an intake clean. Should I do the Seafoam or BG method? If BG....what shops do that?
  18. I've had the Access covers on my 2003 Silverado and 2009 Sierra. I will be putting the same on my 2016 Silverado. Great product.
  19. Does one need a puller to remove the wheel for this project? Where are most people buying wheels and clock springs. I see GM Parts Direct has the wheel for $221 IIRC
  20. So if it's "hot", it would be hot constant with key on?
  21. So I haven't looked under my dash or anything yet, but two days ago I just purchased a 2016 LTZ that has heated seats but does not have adjustable pedals. So am I to assume that the plug will be present but not hot?
