  1. I have one of those LTZ trucks with memory seats but no adjustable pedals. I'd actually rather have pedals vs seats
  2. I've never had any OnStar report notify me of my Range device plugged into my '16 Silverado.
  3. The Lorado runs about $475-$500, but I found this one off eBay from a dealer that had acquired a bunch of these that had damaged boxes, but the contents were just fine.....sold to me for $350. It is very taut and there are three or four rails that span across the bed that sit on top of the rails. I'll snap a pic of the inside later this afternoon. Edit: Here are some grainy pics of the inside of the Lorado install:
  4. Installed an Access Lorado cover yesterday.
  5. Installed my Access Lorado tonneau cover.
  6. Premium cost me $600 even. The basic Line-X was $475.
  7. Had the bed coated with Line-X Premium today. Turned out great.
  8. I'm the same way.....I'm sure it's just as noticeable every day, but there are days I really notice it and days it just must blend into all the other background noise
  9. Where do you get this? What's the process like?
  10. I had an older Range unit sent in and got the latest firmware upgrade. Been running it on my 2016 Silverado for the last four months with no issue at all.
  11. The optional Spider-Man package.......:)
  12. If installed, OEM factory trailer brake controller goes there
  13. A little dirty, but my 2016 LTZ. Would like to put a leveling kit on it yet and have an Access Tonneau cover yet to install. Debating whether or not to Line-X the bed.
  14. I added a few more pics. Still looks a little cramped in the pics, but it's really not. I can easily fit a standard water/pop bottle underneath the catch can for draining and accessing using the oil dipstick is also not an issue.
  15. It looks cramped in the picture but there is no problem with dipstick access or draining. I have a nozzle threaded to the bottom of the can and drain into a regular water/pop bottle with ease. I'll try to post pics of that tomorrow
  16. The bracket that holds the can came with it. I mounted the bracket to the brake booster (take off the nut holding the brake booster, slide bracket over bolt, replace nut). Yes, the silver doohickey is a one-way check valve. I bought the kit that included the valve and the clean side separator. Like I and others have said, you really don't need to install the CSS, and you really don't need the check-valve for these trucks, but I have it and decided to install it anyway now while I was doing everything else. I may install the CSS later since I own it, or I will try to sell it. IIRC, the entire setup from Elite Engineering with shipping and the upgraded braided hose cost me right at $400.
  17. I put the Elite E2-X on my 2016 Silverado about two months ago. Catches quite a bit, especially right now in these cold months. I bought the upgraded braided hose and don't have any noise or collapsing issues that some have had with their setups. I also purchased some extra OEM PCV lines from GM in order to have OEM connectors that snap on/off the connections on the engine. I have a clean side separator, but did not install it and from what I've read, is not really necessary on these trucks unless you are pulling alot or putting your engine under a full throttle. Some pics of my install:
  18. My kids have used it to charge up ipad/android tablets
  19. I'm just going off what the owner's manual says: "If equipped with this power outlet, it can be used to plug in electrical equipment that uses a maximum limit of 150 watts. An indicator light on the outlet turns on to show it is in use. The light comes on when the ignition is in ON/RUN, equipment requiring less than 150 watts is plugged into the outlet, and no system fault is detected. The indicator light does not come on when the ignition is in LOCK/OFF or if the equipment is not fully seated into the outlet. If equipment is connected using more than 150 watts or a system fault is detected, a protection circuit shuts off the power supply and the indicator light turns off. To reset the circuit, unplug the item and plug it back in or turn the Retained Accessory Power (RAP) off and then back on. The power outlet is not designed for the following, and may not work properly if they are plugged in: - Equipment with high initial peak wattage, such as compressor-driven refrigerators and electric power tools - Other equipment requiring an extremely stable power supply, such as microcomputer-controlled electric blankets and touch sensor lamps - Medical equipment
  20. Anything that is more than 150 watts or draws more than 15 amps will cause the outlet circuit to shut off as a protection. Power tools and vacuums are likely a no-no
  21. Sierra went to blue in 2017. If you have a 2017 or 2018 Silverado you can use a cluster out of a same-year Denali and have a blue cluster. I believe some Suburbans and Tahoe's in 2016 also had a Denali-style cluster that could put in a 2016 Silverado and still remain blue. Anything prior to 2016 model year would be a red cluster in a Silverado truck.
