  1. Shadow gray, definitely way more room than the factory storage. The factory one is pretty useless. For comparison, here is the Du-Ha brand one I installed in my truck. Can sort of see one of the dividers in place on passenger side in 2nd pic. Don't mind the dirty interior; kids do that, plus it's been too cold to clean it.
  2. I just wish they weren't so narrow. If they were an inch or two wider and maybe had a lip on them, they'd be much better. But as they are, they remind me of pizza cutters. I'll probably keep them as I don't feel like messing with aftermarket wheels though. Homewrecker, thanks for providing the specs that OP asked for. Sorry I distracted from the original post.
  3. I liked those wheels when I first got my truck; thought they were different. Now that I've had the truck for a year I'm already growing tired of them and want something that actually has a little bit of lip. Going to stick it out until it's time to replace tires.
  4. IN case anyone is following this thread; I went with a wheel for a Tahoe/Suburban. The seller said it wouldn't fit my truck but I took a gamble and went for it anyways. Fit and works perfectly. I used my heat gun and held it right over the T50 bolt for a few minutes and the bolt came out nice and easy with a regular ratchet and T50 socket. Was a super easy swap. Now hopefully some day someone will figure out how to make heated wheel button work so I can actually use it.
  5. how does it mount on top of the dash?
  6. also interested to see installed pics. I've got the Du-Ha brand one as well and it does the job way better than the crappy factory installed one that came in the truck when I bought it. The dividers are pretty flimsy and don't stay in place real well is about my only complaint so far.
  7. Honestly I have no idea. My truck is a Custom so it doesn't have any of that on it. Camera came on grill I bought to swap onto my truck.
  8. front view camera removed from a 22' Silverado High Country grill. Complete with harness and mounts. $100 shipped.
  9. Is the wheel from Tahoe and Suburban a direct swap as well? I was looking at one and the seller said it wouldn’t work on my truck based off vin. Do they have different wiring harness plugs or something? I don’t want to buy one and it not work so is there a way to tell for sure which ones will work for sure?
  10. I found a Youtube video of a guy swapping to a Sierra Steering Wheel. It looks like bottom edges are slightly different leaving some gap on both sides. Can't decide if that will bug me or not. May have to keep looking for Silverado wheel instead.
  11. Looking to swap to a leather steering wheel in my 22' Custom. Just want to confirm before I purchase replacement steering wheel; does the Sierra wheel fit exactly the same; ie, will the air bag from my current wheel directly swap over? The overall spokes of the Sierra wheel are different than the Silverado wheel, so wanted to make 100% sure everything else is the same before I pull the trigger. Thanks in advance for any replies!
  12. yes, definitely would recommend swapping to Lasfit bulbs in the Halogen housings. Easy 15 or so minute swap. I purchased them off good ole' Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/LASFIT-H11-H8-H9-H16/dp/B087QFSQC2/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=3U175PY70V3XE&keywords=lasfit+h11+led+bulbs&qid=1673037872&sprefix=lasfit+h11+led+bulbs%2Caps%2C126&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&smid=A208NATLN9W7P5&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzNkFSNFpXQzg2NzhCJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUExMDIzMjIyT0dZSDBERFI2OUNUJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA1OTI5MjZJS1ZSUkkxTFJNUDYmd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
  13. installed the oem LED headlight assemblies a few weeks ago. Man what a pain just to swap headlights with all the front end parts that have to be removed. The light output is not as good as the Lasfit bulbs I had in the Halogen housings, but I love having the LED signature DRL's. I still have all 6 on high lights via my Gen5 foglight harness, so that helps. Sorry no pics; not really much to see, everybody knows what the headlights look like. Currently working on High Country grille swap. Waiting on colormatched parts to come back from painter. I'll post up pics once it's all done.
  14. I've been itching to get power to the rear of console as well for my kids in the backseat. I'd be fine with either a 12v plug or usb; just want to get something back there.
  15. I started out with a Gator soft roll up as it was cheap. Upgraded to the Gator EFX hard fold and it was a really good cover. I decided to change out for one that would give me full bed access so I stepped up to the BAK MX4. I was very unimpressed with the MX4, it was built very cheaply compared to my buddy who had an MX4 that was a few years old. Overall the Gator EFX I replaced was a better cover that I should have kept. I got rid of the MX4 it and went with a Lomax Stance in carbon fiber. I'm loving the Lomax. Lightweight, water tight except for at the tailgate which will eventually be remedied once I install a tailgate seal.
  16. I know you already purchased a cover but I just wanted to chime in as I have a Lomax Stance in Carbon Fiber. I had a BAK MX4 and like mentioned earlier, it is way lower quality than what used to be; I was not impressed with it at all. Decided to replace it real quick and went with the Lomax Stance and loving it so far. The carbon fiber cover is super light weight when folding up. With the rubber seal all the way around the perimeter of the cover itself, the only water I get in the bed after going through car wash is at the tailgate. The only thing I don't like about the cover is how big it is when folded up against the cab and the fact that the supports to hold it up are mounted on the roof. I've not actually installed the mounts on my roof yet as I think I'm going to get them colormatched first so they will blend in better. Other than that, I would purchase it again in a heart beat.
  17. handles are sold. Thread can be deleted.
  18. Yep still got em.
  19. yes, they are in fact closed. It's been in the low 30's here in Southern, IN.
  20. I've tried out 3 different covers on my truck already in the year that I have now owned it. I started with a cheap Gator brand soft roll up cover. It wasn't bad for the price, but wanted something a little more secure for when we traveled. Stepped up to Gator EFX hard fold cover next. It was an all around nice, solid cover. Only changed out from it to get one that would open all the way up for full bed access. I recently got a Bakflip MX4 based of some of my buddies having them on their previous trucks. I've got to say, I'm not very impressed with the new MX4; it is made way cheaper than what they used to be compared to what my buddies had. It feels cheap, and the side seals on it constantly pop out of the joints where the panels fold. Also seems really stupid to not have one of the panels latch down, I can get my finger under it from the side and lift up and gain bed access. Also the latches aren't super tight, leaving a lot of slop in the panels. Not impressed at all for the price paid. The old Gator was overall better quality. Been looking at Roll-N-Lock and REtrax covers recently, as well as Agri-Cover Lomax Stance as replacement. I can't quite talk myself into going with retractable though. May go with the Lomax Stance next. Granted this is my experience so far on a standard bed truck. I think I'd have a totally different outlook if I had an 8' bed. Like you mentioned; a hard fold on an 8' bed would probably be pretty hefty to mess with. Paragon's are pretty nice also, may want to look into them as well.
  21. Ah ok so no more temp sensor up front like all previous vehicles I’ve owned. Figured the harness was some sort of function my truck wasn’t ordered with; was just curious on what. Thanks for the info!
  22. hopefully they are bigger now.
  23. Hey all, just curios on 2 items I've noticed on my 22' 2500HD Custom w/ 6.6 gas that I'm unsure what they are. First is this piece on bottom of passenger side mirror. It's only on the passenger side. 2nd I noticed was when I had grill and headlights removed for headlight swap. There is a harness with plug beside the passenger side headlight. Not sure what it's for. Any ideas? TIA for any replies.
  24. was really curious to see the Welds mounted, but the Fuels look good too. Can't wait to see them mounted up.
  25. sorry I don't have any input on tire size; I'm going to follow for pics after you decide and get them installed. Look forward to seeing the truck after mounted! Have you looked into adding a leveling kit? I'm sure that'd give you plenty of clearance since you're not going with anything crazy wide.
