  1. Thanks I love this thing. It is a blast to drive, tows my trailer great and hauls my 4 kids in comfort. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Been a bit since I have been around. Bought a new toy a few months ago. Cleaned it up while we had some nice weather. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Ryan, I love the new ride! Beautiful color. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. We have used multiple Flex-a-lite set ups similar to link below. Have to measure your radiator to get correct one. We have had very good luck with them. Actually getting ready to order this one for my nova. http://www.jegs.com/i/Flex-a-lite/400/180/10002/-1

  6. Thanks. I plan on doing body and paint to the entire car soon. Just enjoy driving it too much to have it torn apart
  7. That looks like fun!!

  9. Cleaned it up and did a little work.

  11. Thank you sir! It's a 27ft trailer.
  12. The first time, yes. Two months ago, no. It seemed perfectly fine. No soft shifts. No apparent slipping. Just a boom. I suspect a sprag, but I didn't tear into it to find out. I was just done with the 70. Jakes had a good enough deal on the 80 that it wasn't worth the little saving to rebuild the 70 and still not have any where near the trans of the 80.
  13. This is technically the second time it let go. About a year ago Justin picked up on some slippage and we started detuning to make it live. It didn't and I had the 4L70 rebuilt. About two months ago it didn't give me a warning. I was pulling my trailer unloaded and 1-2 shift went Booooom. Felt like I had been rearended. This time, I fixed it the right way. jakes Performance 4L80e. This should handle anything I'm throwing at it.
  14. All I did was drive it to work. But I love this pos. Feels like a new truck after the new trans and new pioneer head unit.
  15. Thanks Ryan. I left them on. With the way they are adhered it was easy to tape the off really well and not get anything on the door. I did get a little overspray in some areas, but I keep the truck waxed enough that a clay bar took it right off.
  16. I kinda got to the same point. So I decided that I would pick up some paint, primer, clear and some tape from a parts house (auto zone in this case) and try painting it. I figured worst case is it turned out like crap and it already looked like crap to start.
  17. Thank you sir! I agree, but I may be a little partial. ;)
  18. Painted the door trim. Before After
  19. Used it as my daily today. Truck is getting transmission rebuilt, so the nova it is.
  20. Let the Maggie do a little work this weekend.
