  1. Agreed, we tow a camper a few times a month, so I need the rake for same towing.
  2. Yah on my truck it would have only been $300 I believe, but on a LTZ it requires all of the safety packages, which would have increased my trucks price by $4550. So I saved a ton of money just adding them my self.
  3. Great looking truck! Perfect stance.
  4. Yes, Upgraded the rear shocks to Bilstein 5100s several months ago when I did the 2" block.
  5. I installed Alpine S series 6"x9" and 6.5" on my non-Bose LTZ this past week. Huge improvement over stock as far as clarity, mild improvement in bass. Well worth the upgrade for $147 all in, I was able to score some open box items through Crutchfield, and it came with everything for a easy install. I have a sub and amp ready to be installed, but I'm trying to figure out a mounting solution I like first. For comparison it would have cost me an additional $1000 to get the Convenience 2 package with Bose, Nav, and the wireless charging pad. I really hated the wireless charger since it takes up the whole front storage, and I use apple carplay everyday for charging and Nav, so it would have been pointless.
  6. Installing them today. Got them back from the painter yesterday along with the parking sensors
  7. Yah it’s an expensive upgrade for just looks haha
  8. The main reason for the power folding mirrors is that I park in a one car garage every day, it would get very annoying if I had to get out and fold my mirrors in daily lol truck looks good man, Since I’m only $300 into this lift, I didn’t make the jump to the actual trail boss suspension. But I would like those front CV axle’s one day
  9. The 3 things I had to have when upgrading my 17’ Sierra All Terrain were power folding mirrors, Duaramax, and 2 speed transfer case. So this limited me to either a LTZ or High Country, I really wanted a RST or TB. Found the cheapest Duramax LTZ Z71 I could find, and went to work building a budget Trail Boss. Here is my complete product: Trail Boss 20” wheels with 275/55r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers Bumpers wrapped white and sensors painted Traill Boss black grille bars Factory power folding tow mirrors Suspension - Eibach front struts set to 1.5”, Traill Boss rear lift blocks and taller jounce bumpers, and rear Bilstein 5100 shocks. In the end it's a blend of a RST, LTZ, and Trail Boss.
  10. Installed Eibach leveling struts set to the 3rd setting (1.5”) and Trail Boss 2” rear lift blocks onto my LTZ.
  11. Dang, I pulled as hard as I was willing to try. Guess I’ll try again next time I have the doors off
  12. How did yall swap the pins 13 and 5? I tried to figure it out by lifting the while locking tab up and pulling on the wire, but it would not release. I assume I'm doing something wrong.
  13. Couple of things to note, GMC mirrors are different than Chevrolet ones, that learned this because I bought 1 of each off eBay. I was able to make it work, but the body lines are different. Also mirrors from a HD truck will not work either, the wiring is too different, and our half ton trucks do not have the correct circuits. Here’s a pic of how the mirror doesn’t line up, that piece of foam was just in there for test purposes. I will be buying a silverado driver side when I find one. This is the driver side GMC mirror part number.
  14. Installed factory power folding tow mirrors onto my LTZ that came with power folding safety mirrors (no camera). So far the blind spot, power adjustment, and power folding work like factory. When I press the task light it turns on the mirrors parking lights, and at night task lights will come on pike the puddle lamps did previously. I still need to order the door harness’ and see what lights will work after.
  15. Installed, it’s not perfect, but i made it work. Only function that I can tell that I lost is memory recall on the passenger mirror, driver side does function properly. Next will be buying the correct door harness to see if all the lights work
  16. Well bad news just as I figured, GMC mirrors do not fit properly. I had my doubts, but figured I’d take the chance at $200, now I’ll just resell it later. Yes they do bolt up, but the body lines don’t match. I’ll be making some sort of gasket to fill in the spots where is doesn’t meet the body correctly. This will of course be temporary while I hunt for another Silverado mirror for the driver side. Here’s a pic, I have a piece of foam in there for test fitting
  17. Just ordered those same speaker, 6x9 front door and 6.5 rear door. Got a really good deal on Crutchfield $145 shipped for everything including install brackets.
  18. Can anyone help me get this lower mirror part number? Driver side tow mirror. Thanks! VIN 3GCUYGET9LG338535
  19. Installed the passenger side (Part# 84709962) so far the mirror moves and power folds normally. This one came off a 2020 Silverado, so it fit fine, the driver side that I have coming is off a Sierra. I’ll update once I get the other side in. Once I confirm both sides will mount and adjust I’ll start working on getting the lights to work. I’ll probably just buy the factory harnesses to make it easy
  20. Nothing yet, I’m hoping for at least a cold air intake
  21. I’m going this route with my truck, I’ll be installing the switch panel where the upfitter switches usually go. https://www.ebay.com/itm/153972940188
  22. I did it on my 17', the wires were right behind the rear bumper. I'll be installing everything in a few weeks, I'll let you know.
  23. This is the setup I’ll be running, I suggest tapping into the cargo lamps. That will allow you to use them in reverse and park. The mount is from Amazon
  24. No GM trucks come with sway bars, you will have to aftermarket. They’re pickup trucks, they don’t build them to handle well haha
