  1. Yah my problem is the 10” wide wheels are limiting me on how big of a tire I can get. My 295/55 rubs just a little when I’m reversing at full lock
  2. Nice! That's this size I'm thinking of going with next, I'm running 295/55 right now.
  3. Honestly I don't ever have a reason to be driving that fast in 4wd, the fastest I ever travel is probably 45 down a back road.
  4. Not yet, but hunting season is coming up at the end of the month, so I'll be doing a lot more off-road driving then.
  5. Rides great man, better than the 2.5” rough country kit I took off, but that could be because of those bilstein shocks too.
  6. These are used alot in the Duramax diesel world, the torque from those engines can bend the tie rods on a 4wd launch. They aren't really necessary for the gas engine half tons.
  7. your best bet is to use a relocation bracket, and most kits do include it.
  8. Yes I have 5100 shocks on the front at stock ride height. The rear crossmember needs to be hit with a hammer a little bit, but it’s not a lot at all. I have plenty of clearance. The beauty of the kit is that they put a thick 2” spacer in the front diff mount, and a thin 1/4” spacer in the rear diff mount. Result is that you don’t have to cut your crossmember.
  9. Yes it comes with about a 1.5-2” diff drop, this is what the CV angles look like.
  10. This is the superlift 3.5” front with Bilstein 5100 shocks set at factory ride height. The rear is a 2.5” rear block for now. I plan to swap the rear to a 3” block and Bilstein 5100 shocks.
  11. That's a cool kit, and 1 of the ones that I considered when looking. I ended up getting the Superlift 3.5" kit that comes with new new control arms, and doesn't require you to cut the rear crossmember. Just installed it this weekend, along with a set of Bilstein 5100 shocks set at the factory setting.
  12. What is your current setup, and which mirrors did you order. Not alot of these tow mirror upgrades are plug and play, unless you ordered the ones that have no lighting or power folding.
  13. I love having tow mirrors, the visibility is awesome even when you don't have a trailer. I installed these on my dad's truck since he owns a pretty big travel trailer that the factory mirrors won't let you see around. I want them for my Sierra, but can't justify the cost right now, since the only thing I've towed lately is my car hauler. I bought Phil's DIY wiring kit, and did the wiring myself. It's not hard to do at all, just time consuming, but Phil does send all the instructions.
  14. I went with the AM auto with chrome caps that have every function, including power fold and memory. i only paid $399 for mine since they were on sale for $499 and I had a 20% off eBay coupon.
  15. Got my dads mirrors installed yesterday on his truck, and now I’m officially jealous! Man they looks so good, and thanks for the DIY kit Phil, worked like a charm! If anyone in the Houston area needs a hand upgrading mirrors, let me know!
  16. For anyone on the fence about buying these mirrors, EBAY has a 20% off coupon good for today only (code is PICKDADSGIFT ). I just bought the power everything set from AM for $399
  17. The problem is anything under 1.5" will most likely require you to trim your wheel studs.
