  1. Just use a relay, and run the switched wire to the positive wire on the back of the fog lights. Easy.
  2. No I haven't, realistically it'll be spring before I mess with it.
  3. Do the install instructions specify lift height at the different settings? Or better yet does anyone have the install instructions?
  4. Went out to measure mine today, and it looks to be 5". I think I'm going to order the Eibach spings in a couple of months, and try them out on the 5100 shocks. My end goal would be to delete my lift spacer, and run just the spring and 5100 combo.
  5. That looks great man, perfect stance.
  6. Haha I know what you mean man, I'm tempted to just increase the 5100s up a notch to get a little more height.
  7. Lift kit is working great, I don't have any issues with it at all. I'm actually looking into getting Eibach lift springs to combine with my bilstein 5100 shocks to replace the spacer. I don't think I'm having any rubbing issues, but I'll jump under the truck and check it out when I get a chance.
  8. Yup, the wheel remains hubcentric with the 1/4" spacer. Message me if you're serious, and we can set something up.
  9. IDK about other wheels, but the snowflake have enough relief to run a 1" adapter.
  10. I meant the RC slip on spacers, not the bolt on adapters.
  11. BORA is the brand name of quality bolt on adapters: http://www.motorsport-tech.com/special/truck/chevy_s I personally wouldn't use the Rough County brand spacers, they're lug centric, not hubcentric. I would go with a set specifically designed for our trucks. I think I paid $50 for my pair, which isn't cheap, but I had no vibration or balancing issues.
  12. If you have the factory Snowflake wheels, you can run a 1" BORA adapter type spacer, and not have to trim your studs. Personally I wouldn't go bigger than a 1/4" with slip on spacers, you want to make sure you're getting plenty of thread engagement.
  13. I ran a 1/4" spacer on the front of my truck when I ran factory wheels with 305s, and it helped eliminate a lot of the rub. With a 285 or 295 I'm sure that 1/4" would get rid of all the rub. They're nice custom hubcentric pieces, I don't need them anymore since I went aftermarket wheels and control arms, let me know if someone is interested.
  14. It would probably be easier to buy a set of used coilover take-offs from craigslist or something. You can probably pick them up cheap, or maybe even a local shop that does lift kits.
  15. Yup, I'm trying to get an idea of the spring seat setting that you have compared to my 5100s (We are both on the lowest setting on the strut). I may be ordering the Eibach springs soon to replace my factory springs, and "hopefully" ditch my Superlift spacer.
  16. Could you do me a favor the next time you're under the truck, and measure the distance from the bottom of the spring seat to the bottom of the strut. I wonder what that is compared to my Bilstein 5100 at factory setting.
  17. I got my $25 switch in, and went ahead and installed it. Now I just need to get my harness from Phil, and windshield bracket from SDHQ
  18. Your high beams don't have to be on for this to work, so I'm not sure how turning on and off your high beams has anything to do with it.
  19. @TinkeringFox let me know if you’re willing to make me the 2 terminated wires to make the switch work. From the video it sounds like you’ve got plenty of wire haha
  20. Yup, same part. GM updated the part number, but it should be the same actual part. So if a distributor has old stock, it will be the older part number
  21. That part number is for blue, which is what my truck has
  22. Just ordered 23458492 from ebay, we shall see what comes in. For $25 it was worth a shot https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-OEM-2016-2017-SILVERADO-HEADLIGHT-FOGLIGHT-SWITCH-23458492/192480372064?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649
  23. Wow this is awesome, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. Just bought a pair of Rigid D2 cubes that will be going on the bottom corners of the windshield.
  24. Here are a couple that I have on my phone
  25. You're most likely going to rub somewhere with only 2.25" lift, you should look into 285/60r20. I loved my factory 20" All Terrain wheels, they got stolen along with my new 305/55r20 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. So I got my Hostile wheels and 295/55r20 Ridge Grapplers with the insurance check.
