  1. You can borrow my tpms tool, here is how you do it.
  2. Thanks for the info, looking forward to your update. This guy put together a decent install video
  3. Good, cause mine isn't vibrating anymore so i can't keep calling.
  4. If you don't tell GM about people like that working at their dealerships how will they know.
  5. Trust me, I know where you are coming from. But take a look at this web page and try talking to someone, a conversation is always better than an email. http://www.gm.com/content/gmcom/home/lemon-law-warranty-concerns.html?&seo=goo_|_%5Baccount+name%5D_|_GMNA%7CUS%7CGPC%7CGOOG%7CS%7CBD%7CA%7CBMM%7CRTN%7CBRD%7CGCS%7C0%7C0%7CBrand-Customer+Service%7CNA%7CNA%7CNA_|_Complaints_|_%2Bgeneral%20%2Bmotors%20%2Bcomplaints%20%2Bdepartment Everyone involved in this thread should actually call the number listed at the bottom of that page. 6. Let Chevrolet know how you were treated by one of their dealers. I assume you are working with a case manager, I would absolutely pass that type of experience along.
  7. keep in mind that some of these low post count people may be people who recently bought their first SIlverado or Sierra and stumbled into this vibration issue blind and are looking for help.
  8. Google is your friend ;) Took me one try to find this on a Ford forum, and there are more just like it Hello, trying to get an issue resolved. I purchased a brand new F150 lariat supercrew 4x4 with 3.5 ecoboost. Had a 2hr drive home from dealer and noticed a vibration seemed to be coming mostly from the rear of the truck. Took it next few days to local ford dealer and they said two tires in rear had flat spots and they needed to order. I picked the truck up to drive until tires arrived two days later and during the road force balance on the first visit they must have moved the rear tires to the front because the vibration had shifted and I could feel it more in the steering than before. Two days later: They changed out the two tires and vibration seemed reduced at times but was not gone. I left the following day on a 600 mi highway trip pulling a utility trailer with polaris, so slightly weighted, and the vibration was multiplied the entire trip (frustrating to say the least for a $55k truck), at speeds any where from 50-up mph. Returned from trip and dropped off the truck for two days with a result of they couldn't duplicate the problem (absolute BS), they then proceeded to explain to me that if I only have 1 window down and not two it causes a shuttering effect inside the cab and feels like a vibration....really?! Another few days and continued vibration I stopped by dealer unannounced and the service manager took a ride with me since I had a trailer behind me and the vibration was magnified. He was obviously way to be busy for my issue, noticed by his lack of communication and smug demeanor. His tune changed slightly when he could "barely feel it". He explained he is going to order two more tires and road force balance then to let him know if it persists. One drive on the highway and it was obvious it was still there. I want to note the last thing I want is to spend days on end at ford service. I'm just wanting a vibrating free truck. I am now scheduled for Tuesday 13th to take the truck back in to swap tires back and ???. I'm thinking drive shaft, rotors?? I pulled the utility trailer again yesterday and horrible shaking around 55mph then settles down at some speeds and increases in others. I have now made video of the vibration on the inside as well as the vibration at the transfer case and the rear diff during highway speeds when shaking is at its worst with a gopro camera, hoping the service manager will actually review it to get some idea of what's happening. Just turned 3400mi....Any ideas guys??
  9. The M/S2 are being replaced by Premier LTX
  10. I'll probably go with the Michelins, I've had a set of them and they live up to their rating
  11. The Goodyear Eagle LS2 reviews from tirerack. I'd say they are being a little too kind
  12. Let me know when you get those on Jesse, i'd really like to see how that does. And I'll get you that bed cover too.Tomorrow is better than Thursday for me, Patriots vs Packers is on Thursday !! HEY !!!! Maybe that's the problem, everyone go out and deflate your tires a little when nobody is looking lol
  13. Interesting, Wranglers are listed as the original equipment on Silverado's but one of the things done to mine was replacing Wranglers with Eagles.
  14. GoodYear Wranglers ????
  15. LOL Not to worry, unlike most people on the internet I have actually been wrong once or twice in my life
  16. I will say this, Ram has always been good at Initial Quality. It is long term where I have my concern with them. I've driven a few that were 2 or 3 years old. They didn't held up well, but that is just my opinion.
  17. While that may be true I'm not sure you should feel it in your feet while just sitting at an idle.
  18. Nice to meet you today Jesse. I think we are in agreement, after taking both vehicles for a ride today, that there is a big difference in the ride quality of the two vehicles. We used water bottles to try and gauge the difference in vibration from idle up through 75 MPH. And I would also say that prior to my dealer changing my rear shocks and putting on 4 new GoodYear Eagle LS2's that I had similar vibration issues to what you have right now at highway speeds. Things to keep in mind, I have a 2014 with 20 inch rims and a 6.2 L V8 and Jesse has a 2015 with 22 inch rims, Bridgestone tires ?, with the 4.3 L V6. Yet we both have, or had, the same or extremely similar vibration. And both are 4x4 Crew Cabs with a short box. And your radio sucks while mine does not lol I'm looking forward to seeing what your truck rides like when you put the 18 inch rims back on this week.
  19. We need a poll or two added to this, rim size and if you do or do not have a bed cover. I'm wondering how many with 18 inch rims and no bed cover have this issue.
  20. Wonder if we could get a group buy for those shackles if they prove to help lol
  21. Picked up the truck at 11 AM and took it for a 50 mile ride, including a little highway run. Right now it seems fine but I need to take it for a longer highspeed run before i say anything is or is not resolved. Being Friday there was too much traffic heading to Cape Cod so I didn't get to really give it a solid test. I'm going to RI on Tuesday so I'll get a better feel for it then as I've made that trip many times and I know one spot that triggers it every time. And Jesse D, if you are south of Boston and want to take a test ride, just let me know. I'd love the get an opinion from someone else who is actually experiencing the same issue.
  22. Another new set of tires installed today and they say the PicoScope shows it to be vibration free. We shall see, i'm going to pick it up shortly.
  23. With new shocks and a used set of tires, on 18 inch rims, there was almost no vibration detected on the meter. But when the new GM approved set of tires were put on the old 20 inch rims the truck turned back into a vibrator. I agreed to let them keep the truck to experiment. With what they are paying for the rental SUV it would probably be cheaper to just buy me a set of American Racing riims and Michelins. I'm 99% sure that would resolve the issue.
  24. GM just authorized 4 new tires and new rear shocks based on the feedback from the vibration meter for my 2014 6.2 High Country. It will be interesting when I pick it up this week.
  25. Interesting theory on the tires / rims. My first 2014 didn't vibrate, I had put AR rims with MIchelins on right after i bought it. I got rid of it due to the dashboard rattle that they couldn't fix. I replaced that with a 2014 High Country with 6.2 and this one vibrates. It is back in being looked at for the 4th time right now. If it is not resolved I will talk to them about a set of aftermarket rims and MIchelins.
