  1. Yeah my OEMs after 6 years were getting dangerous to drive on when the road was wet. If I was not in 4A, I was spinning at every stop light when it rained. So I had a typo above. My Terra Grapplers are 275/60/20, not 65. Sorry!
  2. Wow, really? I just put the exact same tires on my 2019 RST Z71 and have had zero rubbing, even on tight u-turns. amazing tires, BTW. So much meatier than the OEM Trailrunner ATs but equally as quiet.
  3. Nice! What price per tire did you have to pay for those? When I looked at 285 vs 275 the price was about $80 more per tire for the 285 set up.
  4. Yes, I understand tire sizes. I meant going up to 285/65/20s.
  5. Just replaced my OEM 275/60/20 Goodyear Trailrunner ATs on my 2019 RST Z71. Got 6 years out of these things and 40K miles of good performance. With the snow storm hitting in DFW, I figured it was time to replace them... esp. since every time the roads were wet, I had to run in 4A. Put on some Nitto Terra Grappler G3s, same OEM size - 275/60/20. I'll post some pics soon. 3-peak rated and man they ride just as quiet as the Trailrunners did. But serious bit on the snowy/icy roads around DFW the past few days! Considered doing 285s, but I didn't want to pay about $80 more per tire just for an extra 10mm of height.
  6. Thank you! Very glad to hear this. Right after I posted this, I realized if I searched "vanity lights" I might find something... and I did find a 2023 LTZ review where the reviewer showed the lights.
  7. Hey Yall, Has GM added sun visor interior lighting on the new interior trucks - either Chevy or GMC? I have searched and watch a lot of reviews, but this is one thing few people point out... until you buy the truck and open one up at night (like on my 2019 RST) and realize they cheap'd out on you. Thanks!
  8. Anyone have the new active exhaust on their GM truck, but also had the Borla Touring / GM Performance Exhaust in a previous truck? I’m curious how you would compare them. I have the GMPE on my 5.3L and really love the balance of cruise speed low noise but some growl when you’re on the gas. Wondering if the active exhaust is similar to the GMPE.
  9. These are really hard to find. Why, GM? I don't get why they sell them in Cajun Red, Shadow Grey, etc. but not Satin Steel?!
  10. Are these OEM, or did you get them somewhere else? Really hard to find these in Satin Steel.
  11. I like it! Subtle, but adds some relief to all the squareness of the rear end!
  12. And... I think I'll wait until later in 2022, as I want to see what this LM0 Duramax looks like... as well as GM opening up more color options. The color options on some of these trim levels on Chevy and GMC are really limited.
  13. SO glad I resisted the urge to capitalize on the high trade/sale value of my 2019 RST in early 2021 when there were still new trucks to trade for. The redesigned front ends look so good on both Chevy and GMC. I always felt the Chevy looked best on the T1s until now. I think GMC moved in front on the front ends. But the interiors... wow. I can't wait to trade my 2019 in. As much as I would love a ZR2, I think the best bang-for-buck with the most options is the AT4 optioned out. It's stupid the ZR2 doesn't come with a cat-back exhaust. I noticed all the tester ZR2 Chevy used recently with the bloggers in the desert had Borla cat-backs. All the vloggers were gushing over the 6.2L's excellent exhaust notes. For what I'm wanting in options, I can spec out an AT4 for $70,700. The same options with a ZR2 is $73,700. Okay, I don't get electronic lockers and DSSV shocks. I wouldn't ever need either of those. With that extra $3K, I can add a cat-back and put some bigger tires on, still coming out saving some $.
  14. That's a funny thought. Will the 2-5 year olds of today and the future be playing with cars going "hummmmMMMMMMM!"
  15. It seems to me that cars/trucks are now going the way of iPhones in the EV space. They cost way too much, and aren't going to be worth much a few years later. But the automakers just want us to get on an annual payment plan and forget about true ownership. Just like most people with iPhones don't ever own them. They just make interest-free payments to Apple for 2 years, then re-start the process. Apple cashes out by putting massive margins into their limited-updated tech devices just to keep feeding the "new" cycle for the consumer.
