    Man i feel your pain!! Thats what i normally get at school cause its all stop and go! I got less than 260 miles on a tank one time haha which means i was getting like 8 mpg and thats on 33s!!! I cranked up my truck and foolishly shut the door real quick without rolling down the window which locked my key in the truck while it was running on a Friday when i just got off work! Thank god for my spare key!

    got 400 miles out of my tank gas!!! Woohoo finally broke the 16mpg mark!!!!!!

    Got a radiator for my jimmy from advanced for 100 bucks, its shorter in height...I swear if it doesn't fit like they told me it would i am going to be upset to say the least...

    Got a mirror for my truck at the junkyard as well as wiper fluid reservoir tank, paid 40 bucks for both. Took it off a clean 2000 silvy in really good shape.

    gassed up the truck, got 45 cents off each gallon of gas up to 20 gallons

    Radiator is out of the jimmy. Those trans cooler lines are a PITA to remove. Just need to get the clutch fan off now, it's bent all to hell.

    Got to get radiator fixed or get a new one. Buddy is going to give me a fan. Need new belts and a fuel line from gas tank to gas cap and it should be good to go. Here's the pics as promised

    Well the Jimmy runs and drives...motor and trans is good. Belt popped off and sent the fan through the radiator...Pics to come

    Finally put a battery in my 78 Jimmy. Didn't fire her up yet. Turned it on far enough to check an see if all the lights came on an they did! The radio still works, cb, power windows (kinda slow), power locks dont work (might just need some adjusting). Overall im pretty dam excited. Gonna try an fire her up Sunday> Keep your fingers crossed.

    It flips the U bolt upside down so it doesn't have extra length from the u bolt hanging down. One less thing to drag or catch when offroading

    Well after driving with no shock on the driver side and 3 other shocks that were worn out beyond belief, i must say new shocks can really make a truck feel and handle so much better!!

    How big was the boat and whats messed up in your rear end?

    Oil change done, new oil filter. Got 4 new shocks as well... Oh how many quarts is an 01 Z suppose to hold, its 6 isn't it?

    Took my skid plate off and cleaned out some of the dirt that had accumulated! Got my broken shock extender off as well

    Got a link to em? Thanks ya'll for recommendations! Budget is 150~ But i don't mind spending a little more to get something thats good quality and will last.

    Oil change will be happening this week along with 4 new shocks to replace my 3 bad ones. Any recommendation on a good one?

    Im pretty sure my buddy knows what his own truck weighs... It had a full tank of gas, toolbox full of tools (tool box was undone,resting in the bed), logging chains in the bed as well as all other stuff in the bed and all the stuff in the cab.

    Trailer weighs around 1700ish maybe a bit more or less. Truck weighs in the neighborhood of 6500-7000 pounds. My truck really made me proud that day she handled it like a champ!

    Old girl got a good workout towing 8500+ pounds. I finally got to use the tow haul button an man what a difference it made truck never even had to downshift going up some fairly steep hills! She towed like a champ with no shock on the driver side and three other shocks that were worn the hell out!

    all spark plugs are out, SP holes are soaking in marvel mystery oil. Gonna put a battery on her this weekend hopefully she'll fire right up and run! Oh and got the dead mouse out of my coolant tank haha

    Changing spark plugs in my 78 jimmy. I got the one in the far back passenger side out, hard part is trying to get it back in. My back is killing me

    Front shocks arent bad at all... i'm having trouble getting my busted shock extender off i thought it would be easy but ohhh noo

    Ready lift does. There leveling kit comes with shock extenders. There sending me a new one, i sheared the metal in half lol, not really sure how that happened
