My 2015 Denali, 6.2/8 speed had a weird intermittent vibration that will last a couple seconds at 60 miles an hour after I had it a months. It was like driving over rumble strips, then stop , then do it again 10 seconds later, a few times,then not do it again for a few days. Also the tach would jump up 100 rpm when the vibration was occurring .That went in for a year before I read other people were having the same issues that were caused by the torque converter not locking up. I brought it to my GMC dealer when it was having a episode and they drove it and they said Yep there's a problem . I left it there while I was away on a weeks vacation. When I got back from vacation I went to the dealer and they did have it all fixed new torque converter and reprogrammed the ttransmission no problem since,thank goodness. Happy as a Lark- now

I saw 125 mph on the dyno, lol! With my Denali 6.2. In what gear, I'm not sure... Carl turned off the limiter.

Carl did a great job dyno tuning my 6.2 (above). I met him at the dyno shop and got to watch him work his magic with his laptop. After analyzing the data info, laptop and dyno monitor after each pull, he would make slight adjustments where he thought where it was needed, add or subtract fuel here, advance timing, etc. We were there for 2 hours, manly man shit! Made me loud and proud Can't wait to get it tomorrow

I had my nephew help me put together the side rails and help me lift the Retrax MX Pro ( new matte black) regular rail width onto my Denali this morning. Everything went together very easily, after we put it in, you have to measure the inside width, front, middle and rear. If is wider or narrower, you adjust the width with plastic set screws , then clamp it down with the 4 included aluminim C-clamps. And pull the rails back to within 1/8" of the tailgate, they give you a little plastic shim 1/8" to use as a measuring guide. Easy... The only problem was before we could put the whole Retrax box in, we had to take out the two front stock tie-downs. You unscrew them while pullin back, then grab the springed wing nut. One of them fell down into the inside wall, damn... Tomorrow, I'll try to get it out with a long flexible magnet thingie. Not counting that, everything went together smooth. It sure looks great! And slides back and forth nice.

Yes ,those are the GM 22" SEZ accessory wheels. My dealer told me that the plant that makes the oem Denali 20" chrome wheels blew up back in October of 2014 in China killing 60 people... Gmc is not getting them till they can get another plant to make them, So the new Denali's are showing up with aluminim 20's and you get a $400 discount for not getting the chrome 20's. But we made a deal, I traded those stock tires/wheels, plus 2G to upgrade to the GM SEZ 22's. Then they had to reprogram the truck 1 1/2 hours of labor so the sensors in the different wheels would jive with all the computers controls.. They are major bling and probably ride a bit rougher than with the 20's, but with 2015 Denali came stock with the new magnetic ride control suspension, which make it still ride like a huge old Cadillac-Smooth!....

I washed and waxed for the first time, did everything that had stone blue paint on! Looks great! Daisy can't wait to hop inside

I called Truckchamp and ordered me a Retrax RetraxPRO MX Retractable Tonneau Cover Black Aluminum 80461. The gal threw in a tailgate seal kit and I saved $274 from what it's listed at on their website. It is the new matte colored cover in standard rail. I was on the fence if I should get the pocket rails cut-outs for $30 more, but after calling Retrax and talking to the techs there, the outed 1/2 of the sierra's rear rail pocket is still exposed, enough to still get your hand in if you want something to grab onto while using the rear bumper in hop into the box. The wide rail option, covers the pockets completely and you can not get cutouts or have use of rear for grabbing on to.. I also called Orvis and ordered up the XL Deluxe Microfiber Car Hammock for my springer spaniel Daisy. It's 61" wide ( rear seat is 55") it has snaps that go around the rear headrests, cover goes down over seat, back up to the front seat headrests. We have the regular sized one on my wife's BMW 328 and it works great, keeps the leather seats clean from Daisy, but unsnaps quickly for passengers when needed.
