  1. Morimoto HIDs from The Retrofit Source. They have a Sierra spec kit that has everything you need. I've had the kit in for 3-4 months now without a single issue. Just installed a kit for my brother in law on Saturday as well. I think I read every post on every thread in this forum about HIDs before I finally pulled the trigger. 2. I think I just found something else to add to the list. Looks great! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  3. If you haven't opened the bulbs yet, you might could call and explain and see if they'd be willing to exchange the headlights. Their customer service is top notch. This is why I always double check everything before ordering because it clearly says on the page for the fogs that they're 5500K (and doesn't give an option for anything different). Good luck! 4. Looks great! I went back and forth on which cover to buy. Very happy with my decision so far. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  5. Cleaned up and polished. And FINALLY installed the Bedrug! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  6. In a good way or bad way? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  7. Popped her towing cherry and brought my new (to me) toy home! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  8. If you don't mind the higher profile design of it, I think you'll be happy from everything I've read. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  9. No offense taken. I really was a bit too general in my statement. I meant the covers that are designed like the bak/UC Flex. I had also heard about the early flex having water issues, and even some of the new ones. I didn't look much at the tonno pro hard fold or extang solid fold because I wanted (nearly) full bed access without having to completely remove it. The great thing about this market is that there's so many options, but unfortunately not everything can have every feature. #firstworldproblems lol. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  10. I haven't heard of the fiberglass separating. Is this something you read about somewhere? It seems the industry is going more toward fiberglass so I'm intrigued on what you've heard about this. Discoloring is probably going to happen on either (also on roll ups). I've seen dozens of baks that have discolored and look terrible. Personally I found the flex to be what I liked best but it took me months to decide, but that's just me. Good look with the search and be sure to report back on what you decide to go with! 11. Have you considered the Undercover Flex? This is what I decided to go with after going back and forth between it, the G4, and the bak. I like that it's fiberglass instead of aluminum, each panel has slam latches, when opened completely it doesn't lean against the cab, and when folded flat it has built in secure straps (instead of having to use your own bungees like the bak) what I came to the conclusion of is that NO folding cover is going to be 100% water proof. After finally accepting that I liked the flex the best! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  12. Gave her a quick wash yesterday and got the Flex installed today. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  13. Got this delivered today. Hopefully I can get it and the BedRug installed this weekend! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. IMO that would look really good! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  15. X2 on looking good! Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  16. Did you get the undercover flex or the single piece hard cover? Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah that's my thought too. I don't have a whole lot of confidence that it won't start again but time will tell. The GM Borla system also uses the valve and I haven't heard any complaints with that system. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  18. It's been raining here and bad storms today so I haven't been able to crawl under the truck and look for myself. I was told it's just the internals that are different though so if that's the case there's nothing to show. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  19. What did you tell Goodyear to get them to do that? I'm both surprised and quite intrigued as I have less than 2500 miles on mine. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  20. Reviving an old thread here as my dealership just replaced my exhaust today with what is supposed to be an updated part. They said the new part was just released a couple of weeks ago and they've only done 1 other truck with this new part. Time will tell I guess. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  21. Exactly. If it happens again I'll probably throw a clamp on it and be done with it. Figured I'd give them a shot to fix it first though. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  22. Glad to help. I read about it in another thread on here before I talked to the service manager but hadn't seen anything about a new part. We were actually talking about something unrelated and I just decided to ask if they had seen the issue. That's when he told me they had just found out about the new part. From what I understand though, since the valve is made into the exhaust, they've got to put a whole new exhaust under the truck. Said it wasn't really a big deal as its just a few bolts. 23. The chirp from v4 to v8 is the adaptive valve in the exhaust. I talked to my service manager last week about it and they said that GM has just released an updated part that is "supposed" to fix the issue. They've got it on order for me and should be in sometime this week. I haven't noticed any ticking aside from the DI idle noise but I'm keeping an eye on this thread to see what you guys find out. 24. After a bit of work, got my chrome tow hooks on. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  25. Thanks man, that makes a lot of sense. I'd love to do a full retrofit with the rx350's but just can't bring myself to open up the headlights on a brand new 50k truck... I am thinking about switching to 4500k bulbs though. I got the 35w 5500k and just not 100% happy with the color. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
