  1. I have the exact same truck on order! Glad to see they are out there. Still waiting, been about three months so hoping to hear something soon
  2. Has anybody gone aftermarket to get away from the squeaking?
  3. Depending on where and how I’m driving makes a big difference. Around town and on back roads I will usually average mid 20s. Driving 80 on interstate i will see 19-20. Driving 65 into a 30+ MPH head wind then I’m down to 17. Haven’t gotten over the magic 30 number since I put larger tires on then stock but to get close cruising around town. 4. I've towed my 40 hp tractor with snowblower around town, probably weighing around 8000 lbs. Couldn't even tell it was there but didn't do any highway towing with it. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  5. Have come to find out that colder weather also played a huge role in this numbers. It was pretty cold and windy when I got those numbers. As it's nicer out now in the spring my mileage has been pretty good Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  6. I have about 10,000 miles on mine. Probably just over two tanks of DEF. Minimal towing and hauling but mainly rural roads and around town Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  7. It's amazing how much of a difference the temperature changers my mpg. Between 40 degrees and 20 I swear it's 2 mpg in town. Maybe it's just in my head but my average always goes up on nice days Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  8. I do sometimes miss the sound of a big V-8. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  9. Got rid of the duratracs today and put a set of cooper AT3 XLTs on. 275/70/18. Have already seen my mileage jump back up. Duratracs are a great tire off road but just don't spend enough time there to justify the negatives Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  10. Well I finally did it. Took of the duratracs for some Cooper AT3 XLT to try and get some mileage back as well as no more road noise. On the way back to the office seemed to be a little better, around 10% it seems, closer to stock. Still running the 275/70/18 Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  11. Also there are no alerts when it happens. I would guess there is an alert after the process gets interrupted after to many times to say you must drive for a prolonged period of time. I have not gotten any message like that yet and I have interrupted the process a few times but typically my next drive is long enough to complete Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  12. The Regen is there to burn if extra soot trapped in the exhaust system. All modern diesels have them. You may not notice every time you go through a Regen. I only notice it when my window is down or I pull into the garage and turn it off and I can smell it as i get out. Doesn't really smell bad, just different, like really hot metal as it has to heat up to over 400 degrees I believe. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  13. I am running 275/70/18 10 ply. Think they were a 33.1 inch tire. I have a two inch level with two inch rear blocks as well Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  14. I see very similar numbers with mine at speeds above 75 but seem to get around 25-26 at 65-70. I do have larger and much heavier duratracs on mine though. Thinking of switching back to a lighter tire for summer driving. Even with the heavier tires but with this warmer weather still seeing about 22 mpg in town, granted it's small town driving Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  15. This is my first diesel, came from the 6.2L in my 2010. The 3.0L matches the 6.2 if not exceeded it in daily driving and highway, but it's definitely not as fun when you get on it or want to play a bit. I don't miss the premium fuel as in my area it is much more expensive than diesel. The 3.0L is downright quick in town getting around with that low tourqe. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  16. Here is mine, got it right off the lot as soon as it showed up to the dealer Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  17. I have about 7400 miles on mine, bought last October. Had my first oil change at about 6500 miles according to the computer. Had to fill the DEF tank at about 6000 miles. No issues so far with the cold, truck was parked at work outside when it was about negative ten for about five hours and started with no issue, and that was with #2 diesel. Have it parked in a heated garage at night so don't have to worry about the cold nights. Have no issue averaging over 20 mpg this winter with only in town driving. That is with my larger duratracs. Currently averaging 21.4 this tank of around town driving but has been nicer this past week. Still enjoying the diesel power as this is my first, great engine/tranny combo. Have towed a little in town, probably around 8000 lbs with no issue. You definitely see the advantages of this truck with longer trips, whether just in town or out, don't think I would choose this truck if my daily trip is 5 miles to work, then sit all day, then go home, I think I would get the gas then. 18. I had my first oil change according to the computer at about 6500 miles Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  19. I have close to 6000 miles on mine. The trucks to go through a Regen mode so clean out the DPF. I have never seen a light on the dash telling me it is doing a cycle. I have driven the truck normal when I think it is running and have turned it off with no issue. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  20. I would guess so, the duratracs are noisy. Plan on putting some all terrain tires on in the spring. Hoping for less nose I and bring the mpg back up Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks, I will watch out for that. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  22. Possibly, so hard to tell on these trucks, so quite and can't even smell anything if it is windy ( which it was). I don't think there was any issues but thought it was interesting. I'm a newbie in the diesel ownership world. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  23. Noticed today after sitting idling for a long time as I was in and out working outside that when I got back in the truck to drive it had a lot more exhaust coming out the back then normal, even compared to other cold days I've driven. Cleared back up after a minute or two, just curious if there was a build up of exhaust from idling for so long or what the deal was. Temp was around 10 degrees. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  24. Where are you located? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
  25. #2 is also ULSD. Up here there are a few different kinds of diesel available, all safe for use. #1, #2, blended, and Cenex up here also has a few special blends of their own. Difference between them are gelling points, cetane ratings, additives, and if course cost Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
