  1. Have you contacted TRS? Should be a warranty item?? Where do you have the relays mounted? Are they possibly getting any moisture in them?
  2. Could contact Gen5diy and see if they could help you out? They may be able to customize the harness for your needs?
  3. Have you seen this harness from Gen5DIY? http://www.gen5diy.com/GMC/Sierra/P-P-Harnesses7/Foglamp-Harness8/Sierra-Foglamp-Harness/
  4. You must have gotten some good headlights or drive in town only.
  5. And you now have a truck with headlights that actually light up the road! Congrats on the new ride!
  6. With the harness from Gen5DIY, is it correct that you would need to manually turn on the fog lamps while on low beam in order that they fogs would be on when activating the high beam lights?
  7. This should be the one....? http://www.gen5diy.com/GMC/Sierra/P-P-Harnesses7/Foglamp-Harness8/Sierra-Foglamp-Harness/
  8. For the rear of the cover, the brackets are already there? As I have a '15, I will need to get the studs for the front mounting of the cover, is there a torque spec to use when replacing the bolts with the studs? (Not exactly sure what those bolts are securing.) Thanks.
  9. Would be good to see a side by side comparison of the old & "new" exhaust, or to know what the difference is.
  10. I've noticed on some local dealership lots that some trucks have the lower front corner protectors on and some don't. Didn't check to see if it was a certain trim level that has or doesn't have them. I have full-length running boards so for me no need-probably just trap more dirt & road salt during the winter months.
  11. Maybe a medium or dark gray stripe rather than the red??
  12. Happen to have a picture showing just the headlights on? With the install of the LED bulbs & ballast, are you still able to use the round covers on the headlamp assemblies?
  13. ?, I had my truck rustproofed & undercoated by a local Ziebart shop, anything has to help other than the wax coating from GM that we have all seen flake or wear off.
  14. GTPprix, tried to send you a message, says you can't receive any new messages?? Can you tell more of the programming? Send me a message?
  15. Here's a shot of my truck now with the front windows tinted (35%) and all emblems removed. Done with accessories for a while except what to do in regards of hood protection-clear film or a hood deflector (too many available online, but no good photos showing them on a GMC, and the local shops don't stock any.)
  16. Trucks looks good Wantavant! Debadging not only looks better, saves time when washing the truck! Did mine a couple weeks ago.
  17. Here's a pic of my '15 Sierra CC 1500 after I installed the Westin Sure-Grip composite running boards, Truxport Tonneau cover and WeatherTech mud guards.
  18. Dropped my truck off last night at the local Ziebart shop for rustproofing & undercoating. Need all the help one can get to protect it from the WI winters-road salt & liquid road de-icers.
  19. My nephew had his truck done at a local Ziebart shop. I went with him when he picked it up and I asked about the warranties and such-lifetime coverage as long as you bring it back yearly for an inspection & touch up. If I recall correctly, that yearly look cost $30.
  20. As I've been looking at getting a new truck, I've been noticing that some new trucks on the lots have no signs of issues (yet) with the frame coating and then there are others that do. My nephew had his truck professionally rustproofed & undercoated and I just looked it over yesterday and everything looks fine after going through one Wisconsin winter. I will do the same with any new vehicle I purchase as we have seen that the manufacturer is continuing with the same process.
  21. When will GM use some other coating on their full-size truck frames? The new Colorado/Canyon frames appear to be painted rather than the wax-type coating. I've been thinking of upgrading from my current truck but this issue is a sore spot that GM should have addressed years ago. I would much rather see a painted frame from the factory, and then have it professionally undercoated/rustproofed as I live in an area where road salt and liquid de-icers are used.
  22. Just wanted to post and say "Thanks" to odayflor and everyone who contributed info on the repair for code po449, at least it did work for my truck!! I went to my local Advance Auto Parts and bought the AC Delco part # 214-2149 which is the same exact part that was originally on my '06 1500 crewcab! Cost for the solenoid was $23, plus the piece of heater hose & 2 clamps. Guess I'm curious as to why GM wants to "update" with remote filter, what is the advantage of it? Funny thing too, after completing the swap of the solenoid, started up the truck, rolled it down the ramps , let it run for a few minutes to move the ramps out of the way and got back into the truck to park it, the engine light was off and has been ever since!! Again, thanks for the help!!
