  1. Is the next generation Silverado/Sierra trucks coming for 2025 or 2026? I've seen it mentioned elsewhere that it will be 2025.
  2. Still have it, will you mail it?
  3. Resurrecting this thread as my truck goes in soon for this recall and curious if anyone had issues with having interior trim damaged and what I should watch for.
  4. With an aftermarket heated seat insert kit, is there a way to connect it to power so if the seat heater is in the on position it will get power when using the remote engine starter? Vehicle is a '15 Sierra 1500.
  5. Came across this thread looking to find out any tips on installing the back panel on these seats. Is it pretty simple to just insert the panel at the top, slide it up and then press the rest of the panel against the back of the seat so the plastic tabs go into place on the frame? Had a local shop install a heated seat kit and a few weeks later the seat back came loose. Found out they used velcro to try and cover up the fact they snapped off most of the plastic tabs. Edit-shop will be replacing the panel at their expense.
  6. Message sent on RANGE
  7. My friend installed these spacers with no problems. .
  8. Has anyone bought & installed these $8 2" front leveling spacers from Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/AYNEFY-Self-Leveling-Suspension-Compatible-Silverado/dp/B08B8W8FKH/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=2"+front+leveling+kit+sierra+1500&qid=1598624039&sr=8-1 A friend is looking to do a 2" front level on his '16 Sierra 1500 and we found the ones above as well as several on eBay for $25-35. Any forseeable issues by going with these vs. Motofab or other brands?
  9. Looked up one for my '15 Sierra 1500 and the part # is 23207952. Available on eBay as well as several places on the web. Has anyone replaced one, how much of job is it?
  10. https://www.gen5diy.com/collections/14-18-silverado-gen3-products/products/14-18-silverado-foglights-always-on-harness They make some good stuff. I have their foglight override harness on my Sierra, works well.
  11. Are you saying that your headlights are not on except when you turn on the headlight switch or set to "auto" and they come on when the sensor senses it is dark enough? I have the Morimoto kit on my SLE and have still have DRL's.
  12. For the HID kit shown on your website, are there any install videos available or an instruction sheet? Curious how this kit is installed. Thanks. https://www.fastheadlights.com/product-p/buy_hid_kit.htm
  13. Have been running the Morimoto Elite kit in my '15 Sierra with no issues for a few years. Added the XBLed fogs also. Now can actually see at night. The kit from Fastheadlights looks to be more simple for an install and if it performs as well or better than the Morimoto kit I'd give it a try.
  14. cire0309 is correct.
  15. On my Sierra with the Morimoto HID kit I turned off all light notifications for the door lock/unlock for unnecessary start/stop of the HID bulbs.
  16. I'm no expert but very satisfied with the 35w Morimoto HID kit from The Retrofit Source. BEST $180 I've spent on the truck. Not sure if anyone has had issues with using the 55w bulbs in the factory lights but heard they could burn the bowls? I will also be installing the Morimoto XB LED fogs to replace the originals-many say this is a worthwhile swap, even at the price.
  17. Not sure what you would need but curious for those with the 50w kits if they have noticed any burning of the bowls after a while.
  18. Good to hear, maybe just a simple connection issue?
  19. I just bought some of these off of eBay, made an offer for $15 (was asking $19.99). eBay auction item# 332341672755
  20. Curious if anyone has any experience with these Profile Peak 2.0 921 bulbs. https://www.theretrofitsource.com/led-bulbs/exterior-interior-bulbs/921-2-0-profile-peak-led-bulbs.html
  21. Just swap out the original bulbs to these, that's it?
  22. What was needed to be replaced to have them work again?
  23. What was done to make the "frame look great now"? I don't get why GM insists on using that wax coating on the full-size trucks, as they don't on the Colorado/Canyon series. I had my truck rustproofed & undercoated at a local Ziebart to avoid the issues shown in the pics by the original post of this thread.

  25. I'd contact TRS and discuss the issue. I mounted my relays under the plastic cover between the grille & radiator as the area on the inside of the fenders always seems to be a wet area after a rain. With the relays mounted as shown in post#2873 should be okay, but I preferred the other location to avoid any water getting at the relays.
