I read on this forum that you cant run maps full screen in android auto. Cant find the post now with search but yes you can. Just press the apps button in android auto then press maps.

does the new shaft look different?

Just found out. I ordered one so we can see the differences if any. Im not sure what shaft is in mine. Build date 2/24/21

when you talk about not meant to be a cushy ride are you talking about the 5100s , 4600s or both. if you are going to swap from the camper bars id go with the Cognito bars https://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/p-cognito-510-90887-comfort-ride-torsion-bar-kit-2020-gm-66l-duramax-l5p. i might do that someday day. i was thinking of doing 4600s.

my 21 had the same my 08 had and all of the ones in between. just get it undercoated by someone who knows how to do it when its new right off the lot. Dont go to those big places that pay some kid min wage. to ngas and slob it on.

its 400 watts. 3.3amps. how many amps is the fridge. I just looked up 80 can mini fridge and it was 1.3amps a 4.4cf was .8amps i used my small shop vac with it. you can only turn it on when truck is running so Alternator can handle way more. Who knows what the outlet can handle without melting.

the Diesels have a engine brake ( uses exhaust not brakes) not grade braking. the Z71s have hill desent control but that requires you to be going below 31mph for it to activate.

Didnt have to drop it. its actually easy. just removed the top panels on the pillars. the rear has a bungee cord and 7mm screw. then the cloths hook is 10mm. pulled down for enough to get your arm in there. I used a Laird nmo hole saw.

you were able to do it on the 20+ 2500HD/3500HD with rear spoiler? I have to go up. the mini uhf connector for the radio is already on the coax.

Anyone drop the headliner. Putting a NMO antenna mount in. No info on the 2500/3500HD removal. I dont need to remove it just need to drop the rear. Any info on doing it would help. thanks

i ordered a universal Amsoil 2 filter kit. i just need to fab the mounting brackets.

Amsoil hasnt come out with one for our trucks yet. I asked them about it and they simply said that GM changed the oiling system in the 2020+ Duramax so so they dont have a system for it. id imagine they are testing one but if they are not. I still want a 2 filter system for it.

I got my EBC rotor and pad kit. front pads are DP61830. There was only 1 shim in it. Any one install EBC pads and can tell me if they got shims or if i even need them. They dont even list these pads for this truck. but thats what i got with my AutoAnything kit for my truck Part #: S14KF1220. they list them for 2008- Escalade.

GM wont fix the tuning because it is mandated by the epa to get a certain mpg on paper. GM would not have put this crap tune in it if it wasnt for the epa. they are losing business because of it.

its 5 years from date of sale to original owner not date of manufacturer.

the dealer didnt re tune his tcm they did a fast relearn on it.

from calaway An optional 5 year/60,000 mile Limited Powertrain Service Contract which matches the GM powertrain warranty term is also available. The page they supply a link for that explains the standard limited warranty does not exist. Cool you have to pay extra for the 5/60000 that matches the GM warranty but yes it is offered. No GM warranty though. from rocky ridge WARRANTY & MAINTENANCE 3 year/ 36,000 Mile Warranty on all Rocky Ridge Components. nothing saying that GM wont deny warranty on stuff like wheel bearings or rear end due to pinion angles. But dealer would have to be real ass holes not to take care of you. many dealers are though.

id like to see the warranty. iv seen in the past were they let you think you have a GM warranty but its really the BS superchargers warranty that only covers so much per component. I find it hard to believe GM would warranty something they didnt design and test for. After all for a 3rd of the price you can do the exact same thing Callaway does. If GM will warranty it when Callaway does it why wont they warranty it if someone else does it. Just contract maybe.
