your comment is valid if i were to use a soap like Dawn or cheap over the counter car wash liquid that's not pH neutral. Adam's car shampoo is pH neutral and completely safe to use in direct sunlight. it washes away without any problems when it dries. i also use softened water on my initial rinse and RO water on my final rinse; i have a water line in my garage tied into the home water softener and RO tank because the tap water here is terrible. never had a problem with spotting or degradation of sealant/wax on the finish. i do pull into the garage to towel dry though. direct sunlight is unavoidable here except at night, and i'm not one to wake up early or stay up late to do a wash

if its not the upper control arm like CapitalTruck mentioned, its most likely a ball joint! had the exact same thing happen on my old truck (98 dakota) and it was the ball joints that were bad
