    Oh yeah, that's one thing I wouldn't mess with is setting up a rear end without an expert involved. I just pay the 400 an axle for my mechanic at my off road shop to do it

    If these trucks are so sensitive to tires, what's gonna happen when you need another set and have to keep going back for RF balacing? Or is it just because the dealers/ manufacturer gets second rate tires on the cheap?

    Yeah, haven't had time to go back again. They road forced the tires and it helped for about 10 days, then it came back like it never disappeared

    The k2 trucks look good IMO but there's too many issues with them. I have the dreaded shake and vibration issue [emoji17]

    If Ram offered the Aisin tranny standard instead of a 3k upgrade I would go for a Ram honestly. Their interiors are the nicest of the big 3 IMO. Like I said, would love to have a dmax with the Allison but the slim possibility of getting one with the shakes just scares me lol

    Thanks for the response. So about 3 months, hmm... I just don't have time to play games like that. I've looked at Ram's but when I get a new truck it will most likely be an HD (tow practically every day) and the Ram's 68RFE tranny has very poor reviews. Would look at GM trucks but as stated above I've heard a few HD owners still have vibes. This leaves me with one more choice. The blue oval. Man if I get a Ford my friends are gonna give me so much shit cause I use to crack jokes all the time about them, not so much anymore [emoji23]

    So I'm pretty sure I saw someone ask this a while back, but with so many pages I didn't feel like digging lol As far as buybacks go, has anyone actually had any luck with GM buying their truck back? I know most members have gotten an MSRP to MSRP trade, or trade in assistance, but has anyone actually had their truck bought back so your hands were clean of the dreaded k2 vibes? I'm not dissing GM, my first truck was an 02 and I loved that truck. Modded it heavily and regret selling it a few weeks ago honestly. I just don't have time to do a trade for it to happen again and go through the same process. I would love to have an HD Silverado but I've heard a couple people here and there say they developed the same vibrations as us 1500 owners. Basically what I'm asking is, is it worth the fight to try and get a buyback or will GM only opt for the MSRP to MSRP trade or trade in assistance? If not, should I just bite the bullet and trade it in as is and take the loss and save the headache of fighting for a buyback?

    Gonna schedule an appt for next week for my second repair attempt. If they can't fix it (which from the sounds of it they can't) I'm jumping ship to a new brand. I work too much to have time to take this thing back and forth to the dealer. And at almost 31k the B2B is gonna expire soon
