  1. [emoji107] 37's killed the peppiness in my 02, stick with 35's, I was messin around lol. 37's are just huge, but pretty awesome
  2. Just need weight in the bed
  3. I've thought about trading in and getting an 06-07 2500hd with an LBZ dmax. Not as nice or quiet as my 14, but seem to have a lot less issues
  4. My TOYO M/T tires were awesome for the 1k miles I had them. Guess I need to update my profile and delete the 02 from it [emoji17]
  5. For that kind of weight you'll need a dually
  6. Damn that's weird. My old truck had 328k before I did any work to the front end (probably way overdue, bearings still good though) and my dad's 09 has 200k and no front end work
  7. Could cause pinion to push in and out thus creating multiple issues. Glad you found a good dealer
  8. First time using 4LO yesterday Total weight of the truck was about 20k, not too shabby
  9. Surprised the heads didn't lift off and stretch the bolts on that 6.0 haha
  10. I'm referring to the new 6R140 torqshift models. Don't really read up on the 5R110 model. Now back then, GM definitely had the upper hand for sure. The LBZ was awesome then strapped with an Allison 1000 you just couldn't beat it
  11. Eh I'm not sure about that lol. My buddy used to work solely on powerstrokes (which drives me away from them, always heard horror stories) but he said he's never replaced a 6 speed torqshift trans while he was working there at the Ford Commercial delearship. Now 6.0, 6.4, and 6.7 PS are a different story lol
  12. Still is. Torque is like 60-80lb. less Sorry to say it, but the Aisin in the Ram 3500 trucks is an exact copy of an Ally (supposed lawsuit over it) and Ford's torqshift tranny is no joke either. The Allison has competition these days. That torqshift trans is rated to some ridiculous number like 1400 lbs of torque
  13. Grille, lights, hood, possibly new fenders, and bumper
  14. At least you don't get your hopes up then it comes back haha
  15. Another update on truck: the road force balance solved it for about 3k miles or so. Was doing a lot of highway driving today and around 68mph I get a slight vibe and about 77 I have a vibe in the steering wheel and seat (not as bad as before though). Anything above 65 mph and the passenger seat shakes like crazy like it did before. Getting mad again lol
  16. I put new wipers on. The stock ones are crap. They wipe great and still do, but it has to be pouring down for them not to skip and chirp across the window. Went with Michelin Hybrid blades. The Bosch icons were almost double the cost, we'll see how these do. They were on sale for $11 a blade
  17. ^^ that makes no sense. There are guys here with legitimate vibe issues. How would that be 100%?
  18. Thing is if it was a bent rim I would have noticed it when I picked it up. I put on a lot of miles, probably about 2k since I picked it up, and all of a sudden I started feeling the vibe again right after I was done telling my buddy it was fixed. I also noticed I had a random shake slowing down from 55, like real bad, but it only happened the one time yesterday and I kept trying to simulate it with no result. I believe this truck to be bad luck for me. Day after I sold my lifted truck I hit a deer, that was the 14th. Then the 22nd (both Sept) I hit another deer or the opposite side. The first hit broke the headlight mount drivers side so it shakes going down the road lol. Time for me to upgrade to a 2500 dmax with a heavy duty bumper lol
  19. Update on my truck. Got tires RF balanced about 3 weeks ago. Got it back, rode smooth as silk. And then last night happened. Not sure if it threw a weight or what but again at 76+ I'm getting a vibe coming through. I believe on my truck it is tire related though. May just need to invest and get nice new tires
  20. I've hit two deer in a week and a half... I give up this truck is bad luck I swear
  21. People get impatient and go back to repost and at that point it posts it twice Did it do it with mine as well? Is that why you used it as an example?
  22. It does it for each reply to the subscribed thread. I need to turn off email notices and just use Tapatalk
