  1. I didn't really start paying attention to mine and noticed it at 15k miles. I don't have two posts but just sayn
  2. I'm a moderator lol
  3. I'm looking at both 1500 and 2500 rams. I'd rather have a 2500. Found a used 2014 Longhorn edition 2500 diesel has 30k miles but it's 4.5 hours away. Dark brown exterior with the cattle tan seats, love how it looks. We'll see what's fixed and what's not on my trip this weekend. I'll also be selling my lifted truck here in a couple weeks so that will give a nice down payment towards the truck as well
  4. I don't think he even tried to budge them on price honestly. At my local Ford dealer I just checked and they have the same truck he just got with their "VIP pricing" at 57k before taxes and tags. Anyone know if these places actually honor these special pricings or their sale price they put on their website? Or do you have to qualify for these ridiculous requirements and such?
  5. My (future) brother in law just got one a few weeks ago. It's a real nice truck but when he said it was 69k out the door I damn near shit a brick
  6. Saw that but I got looking at their interior on the f250s and maybe it's just me but it's more rugged looking not luxury feeling compared to my High Country. I'm sure I would adjust it just doesn't look comfortable to me like the Rams or Silverados do IMHO
  7. I have faith in they are willing to help but not necessarily resolve my issue. On a side note Ram 1500 trucks are 0% for 72 months if anyone is wondering. Got an email earlier about it lol
  8. Well I do have some good news. Talked to my service writer and he said the shop will cover the cost of the RF balance even though it's out of warranty because they had damaged my truck last time it was there (they pulled dent and painted it which is one of the reasons it went back to the shop). I have a 900 mile round trip this weekend so we'll definitely find out if it solved anything (my bet is no)
  9. Exactly. When I go in there to pick it up I'm telling my service writer I'm not paying for the balance until I test it with the service manager and I give the okay
  10. I didn't really notice it till 15k miles and have been pretty busy at work and things are sort of slow right now which is why I have time for it now. Sucks to be busy but that's what pays the bills!
  11. Got the truck end of November last year and about half tread I would say
  12. Goodyear Eagle LS-2 and almost 25k miles
  13. This. Service manager said tires have a 12 month/ 12k mile warranty. He did say if one is out of spec he may be able to prorate it. He definitely wants me to be happy he's just trying not to over stretch his bounds
  14. Went and test drove truck with service manager just now. Crazy how when you drive it and point it out they all of a sudden feel it lol. Said tire balance won't be covered under warranty so I told him I'll pay the price (90 after discount he gave me) and if it's still there I'm not paying it. Then he said if tires (s) are too far out then he'll do a prorate on the tire. Feel like they'll have my truck for a while and still not get it right. I've been looking at multiple different 2500s between GM and Ram already lol
  15. Alright guys, went ahead and pinned the thread but I also moved it to the k2 troubleshooting area. Hopefully others will see it at the top before posting. Thanks to the OP for the link, this is a big help!!
  16. If it's so widespread known I guess my dealer knows about it and just playing dumb with me. I go in Monday to test drive it with the service manager. We'll see how this goes
  17. You need about 6 inches of lift in order to fit 35's with no rub
  18. I know mine does I've had 3 different people mention it. And it doesn't help that they're ford guys so you hear all the crap lol
  19. Welp just got a call from my dealer. Said they still can't feel the vibration. I swear. Guess I'll be going down there next week on Monday after work. Can't do it tomorrow cause they are doing the body and paint work
  20. I noticed mine shakes when braking at certain speeds but I haven't really taken the time to figure it out which speeds or paid much attention. It could also be just bad brakes cause I'm pretty harsh on the truck when towing a trailer so they may just be warped or something
  21. Exactly I'm not used to it. Mine are real noticeable at 76 so I set the cruise at 76 on this car and it's like driving on a cloud. Wish I had a water bottle for the true test
  22. Off topic but I have a 15 Malibu as my loaner and it's nice not having a vibration at my highway cruising speeds. Thing is smooth as butter
  23. I have the vibrations as well, just not sure if it's the tires fault or not lol
