  1. O P, did you buy it new or used? Used vehicles can be a gamble. Deferred maintenance and/or abuse.
  2. Wait...184K without Amsoil? Impossible!!
  3. Fram......there, I said it.
  4. 71k original brakes but the front rotors are warped. When the time comes I'll have the rotors replaced instead of machined.
  5. The drivers side temp control on my '14 was acting up then stopped completely, cold air on passenger side, warm on drivers. Dealer replaced the actuator......about $425, this was several years ago.
  6. I just wanted to know if anyone else had a dealer experience similar to mine, it was a fair question, ok?
  7. I was charged for the filter, so.......
  8. When my truck hit 50K miles about 3 years ago I had the dealer service the transmission. When I got home I looked underneath and I swear nothing was touched, either that or the tech was extremely meticulous cleaning up. I've been very suspicious of this since then so yesterday at 72K miles I used a pump through the dipstick but I was only able to extract about 2 quarts. The oil was very dark and had a burnt odor. I added 2 qts Dexron Syn. I've babied this truck since new, never hauled or towed, tranny continues work fine, now I'm almost certain the dealer never serviced it but gladly took my money $220. So, has anyone else paid for services but suspected not rendered?
  9. Purchased in '14 a new SLT, I "only" have 70K miles on it. Other than the HVAC control on the driver side replaced, no other issues at all. I do all my own oil changes on a time basis since I don't drive it much, I ignore the OLM. Original brakes but the front rotors have been warped for a long time, I will not have them machined but replaced instead. Uses no oil between changes, only what I wipe off the dipstick, LOL!
  10. ...............it stopped working. It's a 10 y/o truck now so it's not a life or death issue but any suggestions what caused it? Thanks in advance.
  11. '14 with 69 K miles, I've been detecting a coolant odor since new. I add a few ozs every so often, can't locate any leaks. BTW, my approach to coolant maintenance is to drain and refill the coolant tank once a year, it holds about 2/3 to 1 gallon.
  12. Posting a photo would help.
  13. 67,000 miles on my '14. One big issue was an HVAC servo behind the dash stopped working and had to be replaced. Also the driver lumbar stopped working. never used it anyway, always felt like someone jamming a knee in my back.
  14. Wait..... 175,000 miles without Amsoil or a catch can? Impossible!!
  15. A question for all with this problem: Did you purchase your truck used? Thats always a gamble. Was the maintenance neglected? Was it frequent pedal to the metal baby?
