  1. Don't waste your time with the internet parts sites (gmpartsdirect.com) for lookups on this kit. Go to your dealer and provide them with the matrix and ask them to search the GM global P/N list for these 'kits'. I had similar experiences online and over the phone until I physically went to the dealer's parts department. Lastly, feel free to email the GM up fitter to verify if new numbers exist. I found them to be very responsive. Had they not provided me with the parts matrix to show the dealer (and make sure you have a competent parts person with a decent attitude helping you) I would not have been successful procuring them.
  2. I had tried ordering all the parts individually but was unsuccessful and was only able to find the knee bolster in black and the aux switch block. The complete kit was not available at the time. I’ve since located and installed the complete kit. With that being said, I have one knee bolster in black color (New in box) and one Aux switch block if anyone would like to buy them at the cost I paid for them I do not have any other parts. Message me directly if you are interested and I will provide more info. Thanks.
  3. Hey there. I’ve got one of these and need some guidance on the right way to go about unplugging the existing factory harness from the accelerator pedal assembly so I can the plug in the Sprint Booster harness between them. I assume there is a retaining clip that needs to be released but I can’t see it without removing the knee bolster which I’m hoping to avoid. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
  4. I was able to get it (Although it was part of the retrofit kit that I ordered which came with this, the knee bolster, aux switch, f harness, etc.)
  5. Picked up my kit last week. Cost me $203.00 plus tax. I too exchanged emails with GM up fitter and received the same chart with kit part numbers. My Chevy dealer could not locate the part in their default parts view application but located it in the GM global parts system. Took two days to ship from Reno, NV to East Bay, California. Also exchanged emails with the same tech that sent me the parts matrix and asked if UI bulletin 153 is usable and would be updated from ‘Preliminary’ to ‘Production’ as some of the figures don’t match up with the text references. He replied: “They are as accurate as I can validate thus far…we are not yet able to return to the facility to test and updates due to the Covid 19 virus. I wish I had a better answer but our current anticipated date for full return is sometime next summer, and for some other business function earliest is January, 2021” I have passed all this on to the up-fitter guy I have worked with in the past on projects for my 2015 Suburban and am awaiting his feedback as to whether or not he would take on this project based on the documentation provided.
  6. Does anyone that has this option installed at the factory willing to share their VIN number? Chevrolet Parts has no knowledge of this animal and says it's not something I can order. If I have a VIN# that has this installed, they said they may be able to help me. Likewise, if you can share part numbers that are valid that would be great too. The dealer is unable to find anything using the service bulletin in this thread. Thanks!
