Sorry to pull up an old thread but has anyone mounted to the inside or bottom of their center console? I just got the Vara Reach II (www.varasafety.com) and I also bought the vehicle mount. The vehicle mount gets installed under the rail for the seat slider and keeps the holster near your right knee in the open. I would really like to install this inside the console to keep it out of sight. Edit: Damn I haven't been on this site in years... I haven't had the white GMC for about 6 years. This is like visiting your old neighborhood!

Sorry I dont have the exact details right now for you because Im at work, but there is a bulletin for the transmission to be flushed 3 times and be refilled with synthetic. Had the same symptoms (always around 14-1600 rpms) and this was a temporary fix for about 10,000 miles. Thats my guess if you have the 8 speed. Wow i havent been on this site in a long time.
