Finally pulled the trigger on rims and tires. Fuel nutz D251 20x9 with +20 offset. Tires are nitto trail grappler 295/55. Truck has a 2" level haven't noticed any rubbing as of yet. I think there might be some minor rubbing at full lock on the sway bar. Also tye wrapped the fender liner back just to be on the safe side and give a little more clearance.2 points

On the undercover flex, if you let it go against the cab it hits the cargo / third brake light so it won't scratch the cab.1 point

I have not noticed any rubbing as of now, had the set up for two weeks and haven't had any rub on the liner and havent felt a rub on the sway bar or control arm.1 point

I have a 2014 Silverado z71, has had the driveline vibration since brand new. Went to dealer at 1200 miles, was told no fix and to keep driving it. Had a shop install a 3.5" lift and now GM won't even touch it. I have bought GM trucks for the past 20 years, and this will be my last. I will never own another GM product again. Beware to all who buy the new truck. Please test drive them for vibration before purchase!1 point

The truck stops great now. Pedal feel seems about as good as brand new trucks i've had in the past. Fuel mileage is leveling out at 16.2 mpg. Pretty happy with that. Bought an air evacuation tool from Harbor Freight, and some freon for the A/C System. Hoping to get that recharged this weekend.1 point

It was my aunts. I also rent my house from her. When she handed me the ford keys, i was told "if you cant bring it back in one piece, dont bother coming home"1 point

This is an 08. The only reason it sucked was that it wasnt mine. I hate driving other peoples cars. I worry about getting a ticket or in an accident in them1 point

Just a heads up guys, running tire pressure at what "feels good" is incorrect, tire pressure is about load carrying ability. Those of you running 8 & 10 ply's at stock 4ply tire pressure are likely running below minimum requirements for the application. I run my LT285/65R18 10ply's at 52psi to maintain minimum load carrying ability. EDIT: Tire pressure is not a 1:1 equation across all sizes and constructions...1 point

Stock tires and your tires OP are two totally different things. The door sticker will say 32psi, but you have load range E, you will want to be up around 40 at least.1 point

There's a big thread on here about it. I think it's called "cargo lights on with reverse" or something like that. It's easy.1 point

I had my 14 back for the third time, once for shims and twice for rail kits. The first rail kit was worse than the stock one and now the second one seems to be working. What a joke this has been, all I need now is to get the rattles in the dash fixed and flash the updated software in that piece of crap mylink stereo. I would not buy this truck again!1 point

I have a single in/dual out Super 44 on my truck and had them remove everything from the muffler back (stock muffler, resonator and tailpipe) and it sounds really good and is very loud. It does have the V4 drone because I don't have the flapper valve anymore, but it's not that bad. To me it just sounds like an engine brake/jake brake on an 18 wheeler which I actually like and don't mind. I didn't touch anything in front of the muffler so I kept the 3rd cat, but I may remove it later on.1 point

Yes. This one was completely on me. I stopped to get homework done and was most likely an oversight by me. It is all good now. Downside is, Josh was in the truck when shit went south. Had to take him back to LAX in an Expedition and now that thing wont start. So maybe he is just bad luck. DON'T LET JOSH NEAR YOUR VEHICLE1 point

That's all I have on my new phone. I have uploaded a few on here previously from my old phone. The tires are 275/60/20 I wish I would have waited and got the 275/65/20. The amp steps I love! I always hated the factory steps on this truck. For the Diablo I used the Diablo tune and upgraded the shift firmness. I will eventually get a tune from Diablew.1 point

Thanks. The motor was swapped with one from a salvage yard with 75k miles on it because the original one was getting really bad fuel mileage, ran really rough at idle, and had a dry start issue along with bad oil pressure.1 point
