  1. It has more to do with the weight of the tires and the flatter stance. I notice it spends a lot more time on V8 mode. Hand calc. The difference tire size only makes a 1.6% difference so it's basically negligible.
  2. Pro Comp 1.5" front level only. Bumped the tires up to LT275/65R18's. Overall, likely lost 2-3 MPG's, but I'm much happier with the truck overall.
  3. Update. Rather than just replace the tire, I ordered a set of LT275/65R18 Toyo Open Country ATII's. Much better now.

  5. I've got a Rough Country 2" for Steel arms that I decided not to use. $60 shipped if someone wants it.
  6. Truck Setup: Double Cab Standard Box LT Z71 Pre lift measurements: Front: 36" Back: 39" Rake: 3" Name and style of kit used: Pro-Comp 1.5" Front Level Post lift measurements: Front: 37.5" Back: 38.75" Rake: 1.25" Right where I want to be. Enough rake that I can still load the bed and haul a boat without driving nose up.
  7. Finally getting around to doing my Double Cab Z71, but wanted to ask a few questions. First, being that the Double Cab's weight sits more to the front, and the Z71 rear end seems to be a little stiffer and sits higher, should a Rough Country 2" front level still leave me some rake? Also, if I go with the 2" level, and go with a LT275/70R18 tire (and have the computer reprogrammed), am I going to kill my MPG's?
  8. How did you get the AFM turned off?
  9. As someone who came from driving a 2004 K2500 with the 6.0L iron block that maxed out at 14 MPG on this highway, I had to share. I bought my 2014 1500 5.3L with 3.42's a little over a month ago. This past weekend I was playing with drafting other SUV's and trucks on the highway and I averaged 21.9 for 50 mile at 78 MPH! This thing is going to save me a ton of money in gas.
  10. Anyone running a 2" Rough Country front only level with LT275/65R18 that might have a picture to share?
  11. Has anyone taken the time to compile a list of comparisons? Maybe something like: Truck Setup: (Crew Short Box/Double Standard Box) Pre lift measurements: Front: (Ground to wheel well) Back: (Ground to wheel well) Rake: (Back minus Front measurement) Name and style of kit used: Post lift measurements: Front: (Ground to wheel well) Back: (Ground to wheel well) Rake: (Back minus Front measurement)
  12. Any reviews of the K&N 63-3082? I'm looking to get a little more throttle response from a complete stop. I'm not terribly concerned with added a noise. Right now this thing is quiet as a prius.
  13. I'm getting ready to trade my 2004 2500LD in on a 2012 1500 with the Max Trailering. Did any build times have trouble with the 6.2L's burning oil?
